y projecting its own derangements onto Bush and the GOP, the well-oiled clinton-Simon & Schuster agitprop machine is attempting yet again to rob the Religious Right of its vote. ¹

This is part of a larger scheme to marginalize--and ultimately to crush--the Religious Right and exposes the utter disdain for, and fear of, Evangelicals by the secular Left in America today.

If the clinton-orchestrated Foley revelations were the sucker punch--(see The clinton-Foley Nexus-part one. ² Part two coming soon.)--the latest clinton-directed hit job is supposed to be the knockout.

This attack is not new. The clintons have feared and reviled and have been trying to crush the Religious Right for years.³

The clintons are certain it is the Religious Right that stands between them and the White House. Crush the Religious Right and they're a shoo-in.

The twofer construct, transposed to circumvent the 22nd Amendment, is now poised to retake power. A self-replicating, Constitution-specific pathogen, the clinton nano-presidency, post-9/11, is a danger that we cannot -- we must not -- abide.

Book: Bush Aides Called Evangelicals 'Nuts' (Excerpt)

WASHINGTON — A new book by a former White House official says that President Bush's top political advisors privately ridiculed evangelical supporters as "nuts" and "goofy" while embracing them in public and using their votes to help win elections.

The former official also writes that the White House office of faith-based initiatives, which Bush promoted as a nonpolitical effort to support religious social-service organizations, was told to host pre-election events designed to mobilize religious voters who would most likely favor Republican candidates.

The assertions by David Kuo, a top official in the faith-based initiatives program, have rattled Republican strategists already struggling to persuade evangelical voters to turn out this fall for the GOP.

Some conservatives lamented Thursday that the book, "Tempting Faith: An Inside Story of Political Seduction," also comes in the midst of the scandal involving former Rep. Mark Foley, another threat to conservative turnout in competitive House and Senate races.

The book is scheduled to be in stores Monday, but the White House responded to its assertions Thursday.

... It is unclear whether Kuo identifies any specific official as having used the dismissive language.

... Kuo is scheduled to appear Sunday on CBS' "60 Minutes" as part of a rollout arranged by his publisher, Simon & Schuster, which shares a corporate parent with CBS.

Despite a publisher-enforced embargo, a copy of the book was purchased early at a Manhattan bookstore by a producer for MSNBC's "Countdown," a spokesman for the cable channel said. Program host Keith Olbermann began reading excerpts on his Wednesday show.

... "Here we go again," said Paul M. Weyrich, a leading religious conservative with close ties to the White House.... "If Republicans win, it will prove God is a Republican, since it will take a miracle."

Weyrich said Kuo, while still a White House official, told him... [t]he initiative had been a signature proposal by Bush in the 2000 campaign but lost momentum amid partisan battles on Capitol Hill and the intense focus on security after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Weyrich said that Bush and many of his aides were genuinely interested in the program....

The White House denied Kuo's account with help Thursday from two former officials popular among evangelicals — former speechwriter Michael Gerson and former faith-based initiative director Jim Towey.

Gerson called Kuo's account "laughable," while Towey cited a December 2002 e-mail from Kuo expressing positive feelings about the program's progress in promoting "compassionate conservatism."

"He doesn't seem to have been working at the same White House where I worked," Towey said. "I had marching orders from the president to keep the faith-based initiative nonpolitical, and I did."

... While many Democrats opposed the initiative as a violation of church-state separation, the White House used the program to build alliances with prominent African American ministers, some of whom switched political allegiances to back Bush. It was part of a larger minority outreach program designed by Rove and other conservative activists to slice off pieces of the traditional Democratic coalitions in order to build a lasting GOP majority.

Therefore it's nothing but right to concentrate wealth and power in the hands of those who share their values and to constantly assert that whatever position they decide to take is right regardless of the inconvenient evidence....

Our number one threat abroad is fundamentalism, absolutism. Terror is their tactic, but it is their ideas, their hatred, their absolute certainty that they are so right that they can kill people who disagree with them -- that is our enemy.

I am not arguing that you change your deeply held convictions. To the contrary.

Your convictions--the evangelical ethos-- is precisely my premise, my starting point. It is precisely why I cannot envision how you would doing anything to help elect hillary clinton, someone who is anathema to all you believe.

But that is exactly what you would be doing if, in the next presidential election, you stay home or vote for a 'Perot.' You don't have to physically pull the lever or mark the box or touch the square next to the name 'hillary clinton' to help elect her. To think otherwise is to play with your mind.

It is tempting to rationalize this issue... even to ignore it. It's a difficult issue. It's a dilemma. But rationalizing the issue won't make your actions morally right... and ignoring the issue won't make it go away.

The clintons equate the Religious Right with the islamo-fascist terrorists, with the enemy. They are attempting to transfer onto the Religious Right the hate and fear and disgust Americans feel for the islamo-fascist terrorists. To disseminate their vile invective, the clintons chose a church for the venue and what the they believe to be a vulnerable, easily demagogued population for the audience. (A population they've exploited forever.)

The purpose of this article is to inform you of the clintons' contemptible and dangerous scheme. To let you hear clinton for yourself.

It is critical that you know fully what the clintons think of you and to what extremes they are willing to go to harm you, to defeat you, to crush you.

You must not ignore or rationalize away this threat to your existence. As a Jew, I tend to be vigilant about such threats. I implore you to do likewise. You must not make the same mistake my brethren made almost seven decades ago.

he timing of the Foley revelations is a bit odd. If the intended beneficiary of the political dirty trick was the Democrats, surely the perpetrators would have sprung it closer to Election Day. A month is an eternity in politics (irrespective of the fact that it is the pundit class' favorite hedge).

TEMPUS ACTUM

If not the Democrats then who? Who benefits from the odd timing? And who has the means, the motive, the opportunity--and the m.o.-- ^{1, 2} to pull off this dirty trick?

WHO BENEFITS?

The clintons had been hemorrhaging ever since the first week in September when the husband, by attempting to quash the ABC movie, "The Path to 9/11," managed to accomplish in mere days what his opponents failed for years to effectuate, namely, to focus the electorate simultaneously on the clinton jackboot ^{3, 4} and on the clinton failure to confront terrorism. ⁵

If the story had legs, continued clinton stupidity and arrogance made them sprint. And as if dispatching the tired clinton scold, the tired clinton spinners and the tired clinton playbook weren't enough to keep story on page one of The New York Times above the fold, clinton brought his tired clinton shtick to FoxNews Sunday.

'KILL BILL'

What the country finally learned--fittingly on the fifth anniversary of 9/11--was that clinton didn't simply fail to kill bin Laden.

Clinton refused to kill or even capture bin Laden.

Hypocrisy abounds in this Age of clinton, a Postmodern Oz rife with constitutional deconstruction and semantic subversion, a virtual surreality polymarked by presidential alleles peccantly misplaced or, in the case of Jefferson, posthumously misappropriated.

Those who claim to be professionals in the field of "Journalism" have pushed the self-destruct button on respect, far too often and for far too long. The profession is lower than pond scum.

The premise behind the First Amendment as it applies to the press--that a vigilant watchdog is necessary, sufficient--indeed, possible--to protect against man's basest instincts--is tautologically flawed: The fox guarding the White House, if you will.

Walter Lippmann, the 20th-century American columnist, wrote, "A free press is not a privilege, but an organic necessity in a great society." True in theory. True even in Lippmann's quaint mid-20th-century America, perhaps. But patently false in this postmodern era of the bubbas and the Pinches.

When a free and great society is hijacked by a seditious bunch of dysfunctional, power-hungry malcontents and elitists, it will remain neither free nor great for long. When hijacked by them in the midst of asymmetric warfare, it will soon not remain at all.

If President George W. Bush is serious about winning the War on Terror, he will aggressively pursue the enemy in our midst.

Targeting and defeating the enemy in our midst is, by far, the more difficult task and will measure Bush's resolve and courage (and his independence from the MPRDC (mutual protection racket in DC)) more than any pretty speech, more even than 'staying the course.'

When a Republican uses his office to prey upon young employees, and is found out, he immediately resigns.

I heard a woman caller on the Hannity show today state that while she hasn't always voted straight Republican ticket, she is now because of what is at stake if the democrats take over Congress. While it was not the stagily self-conscious performance of bill clinton on Fox two weeks earlier, ⁴ like clinton's performance, it was embarrassingly amateurish by today's standards. ⁵ Stylistically, as well as functionally.

The pirouette and grand jeté were clumsy, obvious--primitive leftovers from the churlish clinton years. ²⁹ Because Emanuel tried to spin us silly with unsubtle non sequitur, ("never saw 'em"), he managed only to further convince us that he... along with the clintons... were the likely prime movers of the Foley hit. ⁶

When it comes to slicing and dicing his Republican foes, Emanuel applies a Chicago pol's sensibility that recalls that famous Untouchables line: "He pulls a knife, you pull a gun; he sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue." Connecticut Representative Rosa DeLauro describes Emanuel as a "reflection of Chicago politics, ward politics. It's local, ethnic. You're not in a tea party." Colleague Ed Markey, a veteran House member from Massachusetts, says simply, "He's not a political romantic."

  CREW was founded by Democrat activists Norm Eisen and Louis Mayberg.  Eisen is an attorney.  Mayberg is president and co-founder of the Bethesda, MD mutual fund management firm ProFund Advisors LLC.
  
  CREW's 990 IRS filing for 2001 lists its three founding directors as Louis Mayberg, Mark Penn and Daniel Berger.  Mayberg and Berger are prominent Democrat donors. Mark Penn is a top Democrat strategist and pollster.
  
  Penn played a decisive role in Bill Clinton's 1996 campaign, and served as head of message and strategy for Hillary Clinton's 2000 Senate campaign. Penn is a fellow of Simon Rosenberg's New Politics Institute (NPI), an important Shadow Party think tank.  He is president and co-founder of the polling firm Penn & Schoen Associates. ²³

  Given the silence from the West Wing, Mrs. Broaddrick this week sought answers from Hillary Clinton, whose telescopic feminism apparently sees injustice to women everywhere except the kind which occurs closer to home.

  In a letter to Mrs. Clinton recalling their meeting shortly after the reported assault occurred, she wondered about the significance of Mrs. Clinton's words to her at that time. Thank you, Mrs. Broaddrick says Mrs. Clinton told her, for "everything you do for Bill."

  "What did you mean, Hillary?" her letter continued. "Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to keep quiet?"

  The not-so-subtle implication of the letter is that Mrs. Clinton is, in fact, her husband's enabler. Dealing with her husband's promiscuity and worse might keep her from dealing with the important issues facing the people of New York, namely her candidacy. One might call it a Faustian bargain except that even Mephistopheles might not lower himself to sign such a deal....

  I remember it as though it was yesterday. I only wish that it were yesterday and maybe there would still be time to do something about what your husband, Bill Clinton, did to me. There was a political rally for Mr. Clinton's bid for governor of Arkansas. I had obligated myself to be at this rally prior to my being assaulted by your husband in April, 1978. I had made up my mind to make an appearance and then leave as soon as the two of you arrived. This was a big mistake, but I was still in a state of shock and denial. You had questioned the gentleman who drove you and Mr. Clinton from the airport. You asked him about me and if I would be at the gathering. Do you remember? You told the driver, "Bill has talked so much about Juanita", and that you were so anxious to meet me. Well, you wasted no time. As soon as you entered the room, you came directly to me and grabbed my hand. Do you remember how you thanked me, saying "we want to thank you for everything that you do for Bill". At that point, I was pretty shaken and started to walk off. Remember how you kept a tight grip on my hand and drew closer to me? You repeated your statement, but this time with a coldness and look that I have seen many times on television in the last eight years. You said, "Everything you do for Bill". You then released your grip and I said nothing and left the gathering.

  What did you mean, Hillary? Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to continue to keep quiet? We both know the answer to that question.

  Yes, I can answer Brit Hume's question. You are the same Hillary that you were twenty years ago. You are cold, calculating and self-serving. You cannot tolerate the thought that you will soon be without the power you have wielded for the last eight years. Your effort to stay in power will be at the expense of the state of New York. I only hope the voters of New York will wake up in time and realize that Hillary Clinton is not an honorable or an honest person.

  I will end by asking if you believe the statements I made on NBC Dateline when Lisa Myers asked if I had been assaulted and raped by your husband?

If Rahm Emanuel and the clintons orchestrated the Foley hit job--and circumstantial evidence suggests that they did--then it is they who sacrificed "the children" for power... (and treasure: Rahm racked up 18 mil in less than two years post-clinton, a stash he, himself characterizes as a pre-emptive supplementation of the projected paltry (i.e., disclosed, real-time, legal) take as a politico; ¹³ it is unclear exactly when the clintons amassed their fortune. ^{14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19} )

So, Emanuel was hired by Bruce Wasserstein, a man who has contributed over $200,000 to the Democratic Party since 1990 (see campaign disclosure information here, here, here, and here), and subsequently made about $18 million in less than three years while working for Wasserstein's firm.

They took care of their boy. It is so Chicago. ²⁶

 

WHAT TO DO?

• Should Rahm Emanuel and hillary clinton, therefore, resign?
  
  
• Should they be voted out of office?
  
  
• Have they committed any criminal acts?
  
  
• What exactly are the Soros ²⁰ and Simon & Schuster ²¹ connections, anyway? (And are they criminal?)
  
  
• And isn't the War on Terror and the clinton-Democrat utter failure to confront terrorism ²⁷ the only issue that matters in the end?

Rahm Emanuel and the clintons are attempting, as is their wont, to exploit sex to distract the voter. (A case can be made that sex-as-decoy was the clintons' salvation in 1998.)

Voters across America, as well as voters in New York and Illinois, must focus on the crucial issue of our time, the War on Terror. They must not fall prey to ruthless and dangerous demagogues.
