Kerry says he deserves 2nd chance in '08

1 hour, 29 minutes ago

Sen. John Kerry says he deserves a second chance if he decides to take another crack at becoming president.

The Massachusetts Democrat, who lost to President Bush in 2004, said it is a basic principle that "Americans give people a second chance. And if you learn something and prove you've learned something, maybe even more so. Now, I don't know what I'm going to do yet. We'll make that decision down the road."

Ronald Reagan twice unsuccessfully sought the GOP nomination for president before he got it — and won two elections for the White House.

"John McCain, their leading candidate — didn't he get kicked around South Carolina by the same president because he wasn't patriotic enough as a prisoner of war? He's now their leading candidate for president," Kerry said of the Republican Party. "Richard Nixon seemed to get kicked around pretty badly both running for president and governor, turned around and came back and got elected president."

Kerry faces a major challenge trying to convince Democratic activists that a recently defeated candidate can still carry his party's hopes for recapturing the White House.

He's the laughing stock of the youth in Vietnam. They call him "the runner". Some in Saigon told me that their city would have been more hi-tech than Hong Kong today if Kerry and his kind didn't get their way in the 1970s.

Evidentally the re-education camps didn't work OR the internet is showing them the truth.

Hey SKerry, none of the people you named had admitted to TREASON by consorting with consulting with our ENEMIES. NO SECOND CHANCE.

The Democrats need to find some one who doesn't talk down to the public. Algore, Hillery and Kerry remain popular because so many people don't know that that they are being patronized. The MSM arn't going to tell them in fear of revealing their own secrets.

I wonder if Kerry has any money left in his warchest? Or will the ketchup lady bankroll him?

Poor Johnny...he must think he is the only candidate the dems have. I wonder if that will be his platform. The first time around it was I'm John F-ing Kerry reporting for duty. In '08 it will be I'm John F-ing Loser I deserve a second chance Kerry.

What Kerry deserves, but probably isn't going to get, is a long drop with a short rope. He, and Jane Fonda, and the rest of the traitors.

Americans give second chances, but Democrats haven't done so since I was in pinafores.

The man is positively delusional if he thinks he will win the nomination again. He belongs in a cornfield in Iowa, keeping the crows off the crops.

I have a plan

I have a plane

I have a pain (rhymes with gin raisins)

I can play football and play my hurdy gurdy.

I twirl round and round face east and west
change my mind and do the safety dance.

"Why's he hoping that McCain is the leading candidate?"

Kinda dovetails with that so-called "oops" moment reported yesterday, by a Clinton advisor. They're really pushing for McCain sympathy, aren't they?

Remember what Bob Dole said during the 2004 election....
"How does a man earn three purple hearts, but never spends one day in the hospital?"

It will be fun watching Kerry and Hillary going at each
other in the primaries! A plague on both their houses!

Why's he hoping that McCain is the leading candidate?

With John McCain on our ticket, liberals will have two good candidates to choose from.

Nope. He still hasn't worked a day in his life but lives off Ketchup and Mustard, and he's still a phony veteran.

And he is still a Traitor to the USA. Why he is still loose, I don't know! Paid off somebody?

Sigh.

What is it with Democrats that they can not loose with dignity? You don't hear Bob Dole running around whining. You don't hear George H.W. Bush running around whining.

They need to learn that winning the Presidency is not a personal entitlement.
