Stuff like this really makes me feel like I'm gonna puke. We sure share this planet with some absolute sacks of soulless skin.

The baby's parents should be subjected to the same inhumane torture.

Abortion for poor people.

Rich people get nice clinics (the cockroaches are just another aspect of the terrific service environment). Poor people just expose their unwanted children. Fair's fair, y'know, AND it saves us all money. That baby could have grown up to be a Dumbocrat or other life- and rights- despising criminal.

Okay, maybe I'm a little irritated here, and that always makes me just SEW judgmental! .....

Well, thank God that Mrs. Jiminez was so worried about the crying she thought was a kitten that she continued to think about the crying and enlisted friends and neighbors to investigate until they found the baby and got him help. Baby Jordan has several guardian angels, and he's lucky to be alive.

Seems that a bit more concern for animals could have saved this human baby from 14 hours of misery, and quite likely brain damage and/or death after a short life spent shivering in the cold and then punctured with needles and hooked up to lots of tubes and wires.

Mass is a Safe Haven state...the mother could have walked into ANY fire station, police station, or hospital and handed the baby over without any questions being asked. There is absolutely NO excuse for a child to be abandoned like this. If they find the mother, she needs to be charged with attempted murder. If the baby dies, execute her.

“It’s a sin to leave a baby out to freeze to death.”

A . . . GASP . . . "sin"??? This child needs to be put into PC re-education classes!

This just breaks my heart. If you can't handle caring for a baby, then for God's sake, leave it on someone's doorstep, ring the bell and run. So sad.

:shaking head:

I remember a news story around 1983, which involved a dead baby being found in a trash bin at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. At the time I referred to it in conversation with other New Yorkers as 'a typical New York story'. Now it is becoming a typical American story.

This is terrible. I don't know how someone could live with themselves after doing this.

A sin, yes. And it's a crime. And the DSS will eventually track down the mother and "reunite them" instead of urging prosecution and making sure the baby never gets within 1000 yards of the beast who bore her.

I once read an 1870's newspaper account about a rural California blacksmith and his wife who woke one morning to the sound of a baby crying in a basket on their porch.

No one knew who the mother could be -- there were no women "in the family way" in the village. It was thought the woman had surreptitiously selected the blacksmith's house, knowing the couple did not have children.

The paper reported that the blacksmith could be heard singing, "It's good to be a father" while he fashioned a cradle.

The event was seen as a good omen by the entire community.
