U.S. . District Court Judge John George Koeltl greeted her actions with a slap on the wrist and a pat on the back.

Although Stewart faced 30 years in prison, Koeltl ignored federal guidelines and sentenced her to only 28 months.

During sentencing, Koeltl gushed, “Ms. Stewart performed a public service, not only to her clients, but to the nation.” Koeltl further ruled she could remain free while she wages a promised “militant” appeal to the sentence.

Koeltl – whom President Clinton appointed to the Southern District of New York in April 1994 – also handed out easy sentences to Stewart’s co-defendants.

Actually, Ron Kuby also said that 9/11 caused him to rethink what he was doing -- why was he defending people who were trying to kill him and his family?

Even the National Lawyers' Guild, though they give lip service to supporting Stewart, is basically fed up. Her statements on tape were so damning that she has made it easier to prosecute other left wing attornies.

Unfortunately, an appeal will not lead to a harsher sentence. I suppose they could send her to a high security prison -- which would be an interesting development. Put her in a cell next to her old client, the blind sheikh.

I was watching Fox news during my lunch break, I didn't catch the name of the Dimbo, but she said well Stewarts actions didn't lead to anything bad happening. She went on to say that you can't convict based on what you think could have happened. Well if that is the case why is drunk driving illegal if you don't kill or hurt anyone or crash your car?

Now, I'm not defending what she did by any means, it was treasonous and beastly, and the sentence was definitely too light, but keep in mind that she probably doesn't have much longer to live, anyway. She's in her late 60s, and has cancer. I'd agree with the assertion Bill O'Reilly made last night (I don't normally watch him, but caught that part of his show) that she should have gotten five years.

1) Get O'Reilly on the case

2) FReep him at every opportunity

3) New Yorkers/concerned colleagues need to take him on .. make his life miserable .. SHUN HIM ..

28 months in prison is a light sentence. However, it is not such an easy thing for a 67 y/o woman.

It speaks volumes that he would honor Stewart – who has a history of justifying “revolutionary” violence – after she endorsed the use of terrorism under oath in his courtroom. Longing for a “popular revolution” on the stand, she said America “will not be changed without violence.” Moreover, “You can't always separate out the combatants from the non-combatants.” Nonetheless, she hoped “[p]eople will make the right decision about which to attack,” helpfully adding, “The New York City Board of Education could be one [location] to attack.” Her lawyer, Michael Tigar, objected, claiming these questions dealt with her “abstract political views,” but he let the truth slip in court: “We're getting perilously close to bridges, buildings and tunnels,” the targets envisioned by her client.

Stewart knew exactly what she was doing. She was aiding Islamic terrorists. She wants to see them create more 9/11's. She would dance with joy as more American civilians die. She's not gullible. She's a traitor. The judge is an enabler of evil.

Ron Kuby left WABC early yesterday so he could go to Court to show support for his dear dear friend, Lynne Stewart.
