My post #56, I think, admitted my mistake. I run a company that supplies water to 400 homes and 40 condos. I drive through the system every day looking for problems. There are NO Blackwell signs, and probably 50 to 60 Strickland signs. Now, I don't talk politics with any of the customers, that would be bad business ethics, but what I see in this area, has created a great deal of pessimism on my part. I hope I'm wrong, (how many times do I have to state this?), but I don't think I am. In your gung-ho-ness, you've developed a very thin skin.

Nope. My skin's fine. Being 'thin skinned' has nothing to do with expecting adults to be able to say 'I'm sorry' when they've been incredibly rude for no reason at all. If I bump into someone, even accidentally, I say 'I'm sorry.' You should try it some time. That would go a long way to make you feel better.
But, do enjoy your pessimism. At least when you think the worst is going to happen, you're never disappointed.
We may not win every battle this year, but at least I have the satisfaction of knowing I did my best to help the state and the country avoid disaster. You should have taken all this time you spent moaning on FR and written positive e-mails to your family and friends.
Maybe you should consider doing that next time you come online to complain and discourage others. And maybe the next time someone like me tries to encourage YOU, you shouldn't bite their head off.
Just food for thought.....
