I don't know if anyone can do this, but it would help me quite a lot if a volunteer could just provide brief summaries of the Savage topics as he presents them.
I think it would provide some continuity and permanent record of the content of the show.
I have to get up from the PC quite often, and I actually monitor the Savage nation for about 6-7 hours, listening on about 5 or 6 stations on my car radio. (I can pick up lots of out-of-state broadcasts. My "local" station doesn't start the Savage show until FIVE hours after it's live!!!)
I do listen live when I can, but for me, the Savage nation consists of scanning the radio dial for 6 to 7 hours....

A snowbird, I'm now back in Florida after 4 months in Illinois. Ah, how warm it is here. How cold it was in Illinois.
I can now receive The Savage Nation without relentless interference and swirls of static. Happy to be back here at the dinner hour.
When you have time, please show a photo of the Savage buffet dessert bar. You better have something chocolate and gooey for me or I'll pout.

A very interesting opening monologue. Arbitrary decisions by judges, the Pendleton soldiers, western decadence. An intricate web of topics to fill out the show.

(Wow, I'm glad I saved this little collection here, it's getting LOTS of mileage!!!)
Savage is a TALK SHOW HOST. Period.
He is NOT the Bush RNC (Republican National Committee) which supported both Arlen Specter and then Lincoln Chaffee against REAL Republican primary opponents.

These aren't the RINO political campaign contributions you're looking for.
Move along.

Why is it trashing to ask for an explanation for why someone would give money to the Brown campaign? Because the donation is a trashy thing to do?

Evidently yes. A roughly equilateral triangle with Baghdad at the lower right. Tikrit at top, and Ar Ramadi to the lower left. Wikipedia has a good map but I'm not going to link to it.

Savage just played an audio segment of a CNN reporter chit-chatting with an Iraqi insurgent taking aim on US soldiers with a sniper rifle and scoring a direct hit. Savage says CNN has crossed the line and is calling for charges to be leveled against the news agency.

I thought I would go to opensecrets (followthemoney.com) and find out who else Michael had given to over the years... Using "Salvage Productions" and other names...
Oddly only one contribution over the years (think back to 1988) and you know what that was. I thought I could balance the Dane effect by putting the donation in perspective, but I couldn't... the pie chart is 100% in one corner since only one donation could be found.
Does he give under a different name ?

Hugh was scheduled to have Mark steyn this entire hour - I am recording it and don't know if it went as planned.
Hugh interviewing Steyn for an hour takes precedence over the first hour of Savage, anytime.
