We weren't Italy's garbage dump, but the mobsters came anyway...we didn't qualify all Italians based on the actions of their riff raff.
Even with the Mafia, 25% of the prisoners in our federal jails are NOT Italian - but they are illegals.
This is the best argument you can come up with? That the Italians came over and committed crimes, so it's ok for illegals to do the same? Strange analogy.

The "argument", is that there are criminal elements within every segment of every group of people.
It wasn't OK for the Italians, it isn't OK for the Mexicans, and it isn't OK for the native born.
P.S. You have NO idea what percentage of Italians were in Federal prisions at that time.
