Chris Lilik Is Being Heard (The AMAZING Freeper Who Might Be Key To Defeating Bob Casey)
American Spectator ^ | October 23, 2006 | Jeffrey Lord

Posted on 10/23/2006 3:56:37 AM PDT by PJ-Comix

While his famous conservative elders squabble on the front page of the New York Times, Chris Lilik just keeps his eye on the ball.

Attention should be paid.

Perhaps significantly in understanding the evolving state of generational politics with young conservatives, while Lilik loved Ronald Reagan he was only a year old when Reagan entered the White House. His conservative heroes, both at the national and state level, are very much alive and talking as a part of contemporary America.

I know his FR screen name but don't want to reveal it for privacy reasons.

I hope Chris will chose to make his identity known...after the election.

But the moonbat left is not PA.

Like James Carville once said, "Pennsylvania is Philadelphia on one side, Pittsburgh on the other side, and Alabama in between." I like your prediction and I agree that the race will be very close, a lot closer than the dinosaur newsrooms would want you to believe.

Here's his website:

Why not slide on by and drop him some cash? I just sent him a sawbuck. It's not much, but in the last half hour, he's collected about $700. Pennsylvania radio is cheap. ;O)

And Chris, if you're reading this, the datestamp on your fundraising meter is wrong: "As of 11/23/06..." should obviously be October, not November).

Alabama in between?

Well, our literacy rates are higher . . . .

I just went to the website Chris set up. I plan to go back in a few minutes and make an online donation. But, I wanted to get this website out to all the FREEPERS who want to see Rick Santorum reelected as badly as I do.

There are many "life-long Republicans" who find anyone to the right of Lenin on social issues to be too conservative. But if they were what PA is, Santorum would not have been elected in the first place.

Ah, I remember that day well...A buddy and I were in Iowa with a huge Bush-Cheney sign, a "Flush the Johns" sign and a plunger, taking honks, cheers and (from the Dems) outraged abuse. We got into his truck at about 4pm to go back to Illinois, and he turned on Hannity. It was the first time either of us had heard about the exit polls. He was worried, I said "Yeah, right," and we discussed where Kerry had been campaigning the last few days. Conclusion: The polls were wrong, or Kerry would have had a very different schedule. I didn't worry about it any more for the rest of the day, and sure enough...

I'm getting real sick of them, myself.

Screw 'em. We're going to do what it takes to win. Everybody send money or volunteer.

Another little memory from Iowa I'd like to share...

A car pulled up near me with a young man, mid 20's or so, waving to catch my attention. He reached into the back seat, and while rolling down his window with his right hand, he brought up a sign with his left and showed it. It was a "Vets for Bush" sign.

I called over to him, "I'm a vet, too! Today is Veteran's Day! Did you vote yet?"

"First thing this morning, brother! Happy Veteran's Day!"

We kept chanting "Veteran's Day! Veteran's Day!" until the light changed and he drove off. Meanwhile, Scott was shaking the plunger at oncoming traffic next to his "Flush the Johns" sign.

Man, it's good to be a conservative.

"Just don't think it is going to happen. Dislike of Santorum is very, very strong. He is a bit too Southern Conservative for PA (yes I have lived there for about 18 years). Too many hang-ups about sex that doesn't appeal to the Eastern part of the state )."

I know what you are saying, but the charicature of Santorum borders on bizarre ...

Santorum is an Italian-American, son of an Italian immigrant, Catholic, and married with many kids. Being a family oriented man doesnt give you "hang-ups about sex",
unless you think all of 70% of American against gay marriage is just 'uptight'...

Santorum is the most important race for conservatives.

the last real northeast conservative...

"I lived near Valley Forge, Pa for 29 years before moving, and the area has slid downhill, and veered to the left quite a bit.

The democrat political attack ads equating local Republicans to Floridian style conservatism - as if that makes one the scum of the world - were shockingly offensive to me."

It borders on a kind of bigotry, does it not?

I have that from the perspective of someone who grew up in New Jersey and is now in Texas. There is a northern arrogant attitude towards the south, reinforced by media and liberal elites, that equates social cosnervatism with some kind of low intelligence and backwardness.

Probably named "Rockefellar" or maybe "Chaffee"
