Except for the ''oldtimer'' comment, that's what an exchange forum is for. Well, thinking about it, I guess I've become an oldtimer after all. Damn! When did that happen?

An Arab FOX reporter in Baghdad stated on the Salem radio network that the current post-Ramadan violence was obviously designed to give the Demcrats the edge in the Nov. election. It seems to me she was cut-off somewhat abruptly and I did not here that particular report again.

Sent my donation 2 days ago and my FR contribution today. I would not count out Rick at all. He was behind last time he ran and won it handily. He is one of those campaigners who are masters at closing. However, there are many dimbulb voters in PA who are mystified by the name "Bob Casey." Being from CA I cannot understand this attraction Eastern voters have with certain names like Casey, Kennedy, et al. It must be an Irish/Catholic thing.

He just signed the bill authorizing the border fence. He heard the voices of those of us who wanted border security first and foremost. I was never "p!ssed" at him like so many others because I figured all along he would do the right thing because that seems to be part of his character.

I hope you're right. I'm an Irishman, American affairs are none of my business, I just stated that for the record.

He's titled ''Senator'' precisely because he won that same state at least once --and I believe twice--before. So, it's difficult to grasp the meaning or significance of your comment.

....it ain't rocket science.

No it ain't, at least on this site, or in the mind of rational beings. However, practically no one, except now Santorum, is stepping up to publicly say so.

Perhaps I am naive, but I think that if the Republicans had ignored most else, and reiterated this astoundiingly simple and incontrovertible fact, this electoral cycle would look a great deal more promising. No ballocks. No brainbox?

Excellent! What a pity the brain dead left does not understand what muslim fascists are all about. Like blind fools they adopt the same anti-American and anti-Western stance of the fascists.

Likely the best thing I've read on FR this month!

As a rule in most locales, conservatives who campaign as conservatives win. The most self-destructive thing Senator Santorum could do, even in a somewhat liberal state, would be waffling to the left as he comes down the home stretch.
I've never understood why CINO's are somehow convinced that voters will readily opt for liberal-lite when, if they're inclined in that direction, they can just as easily go for the authentic article.

Editor's Note said that Rick was making this speech around the State of Pennsylvania for two days.

I hope the crowds are large and the speech gets plenty of local press coverage.

Santorum is one hundred per cent accurate in his historical analysis.

Fascism IS on the rise yet AGAIN. Chavez is not a "socialist," he is a fascist. Castro was not a "socialist," he is a fascist. Kim Jung 'il is a fascist. And the fascists of Iran, Syria, Hamas and Hezbollah are attempting to form a world wide Axis of fascist nations, using the United Nations, and the weak kneed Democrat party of the USA as allies to complete the job.

Santorum has his feet on the ground and knows history. What he says is not a scare tactic, it is the simple truth.

But how long will the USA remain asleep. Churchill convinced FDR that the Fascist threat was real, and FDR engaged a lend lease plan to aid Britain way before the USA entered WW II, by necessity. Now it is the Republican party that must agree on this history , just when so many Republicans are moderating their positions on this World wide war.

At some point it will be necessary for the USA to engage its strategic weaponry to protect itself. One thing it could do is to run the UN out of New York. Let it move to the Hague, so we can organize our own United Democratic Nations Axis.Take the stage away from the fascists, and present them with a large dose of strategic weapon suppositories, and lets see who blinks first.

Problems with Hezbollah? Send repeated flights of B-52s from Diego Garcia, and stop piddling around. Level a few cities, such as Balbek and Damascus, and let the fascists understand what awaits them as they go about their sordid rounds of beheadings and executions to subvert the societies which are cowed into hosting them.Blast them where they have conquered.

This is what Churchill advocated in 1938,and everyone thought Churchill was nothing but a crazy , cigar smoking alcoholic.

The thing is: Churchill was right. So is Santorum.

The only thing I can find at fault with Santorum is that he is not strident enough in his anti-fascist position.

"This would not be an unpopular war were it not for the leftist media putting out anti Bush propaganda for the express purpose of bringing him down. The American public would support it if told the truth. Like Viet Nam, the media how the power to stop a war and let the enemy win. They remembered that, and they are repeating history."

IMHO, they have been doing their utmost to repeat that history, including silencing any voice that doesn't promote their line.

I also happen to believe that they are not only failing in that attempt, but know that the proof of that failure is coming November 7.

Funniest thing about it all is that the libs and the MSM have become so codependent, they are about to walk off the cliff together. And they both know it.
