Clinton Fatigue on the Rise
HUMAN EVENTS ^ | 10-29-2006 | Amanda B. Carpenter

This year alone Mr. Clinton has raised $7.3 billion for his various social causes. Mrs. Clinton’s Senate re-election campaign has cashed in more than $49 million.

Now, some of their friends say they are starting to feel “Clintoned out.”

The New York Times spoke with one of their donors, who would not be named, who said he was bowing out of extravagant fundraising events hosted by the Clintons this weekend because he was “Clintoned out.”

The source said their financial solicitations were ''absolutely endless.''

The Clintons show no signs of easing up...

Although Bill’s birthday was August 19th, weekend events were billed as a 3-day celebration of his 60th birthday.

In reality, the events were scheduled much closer to Hillary’s 59th on October 26th. Her milestone was only marked with a Thursday evening dinner reception. Tickets to celebrate her 59th were sold for $1,000 each.

Another anonymous donor told the New York Observer he was getting too much financial pressure from the Clintons.

He said, "I'm on Clinton overload. I'm not really wanting to do this. I've been tight with the Clintons for many years, but I'm beginning to feel used."

Money raised from Hillary’s reception Thursday went to her Senate campaign, while funds from weekend events went to Bill’s foundation...

All tapped out...like we'd be if the hildabeast and her little dog bubba get back in the White House again.

I think they are including virgin stock, bill gates and warren buffet giving to end hunger or aids or something like that plus the money clinton and bush 41 raised for tsunami relief.

"Every dollar these morons throw at Bubba is one dollar that does not end up in the war chest of the DNC."

Bubba is the DNC. Howard Dean will not make it to Jan 1, 2007. Emiliy's List, NARAL, ACT, Moveon will all come under one umbrella starting next year and it will be overseen by Bill Clinton and his cronies.

One day, all these Clinton toadies will wake up and realize that the Marxists have taken over the asylum. These toadies will realize that they work for Bubba. Just like the mob.

Hell, I'm in Arkansas, and I've been "Clintoned-out" for over twenty years. Nothing to them but poor, white trash, IMHO.

Just now?! Most of us were beginning to feel used right around 1993.

What hubris!

Yesterday was my 59th birthday. (thank you very much)

I sent out 100 very nice invitations offering folks to come over for dinner for only $500 each, I spent the night with my foodsaver...vacuum packing 499 half chickens to freeze them.

I ate one.

$7.3 billion?

Let's see that would be 73,000 contributions averaging $100,000 each in 10 months, is my math right?

I find this claim a little dubious.

How many normal Americans invite our friends over for dinner, then bill them anything ?

Never mind $1,000 per plate.

Yikes.

I know that Donald Trump is a Clinton "butt boy". He loves the Clintons. I wonder if they have been hitting him up constantly for contributions. Maybe he is the secret source for this story.

If the Clintons aren't careful, they will start alienating their friends with their greed and tackiness.
