Mrs wbill is a lucky woman! Good job, Sir.
I have been submitting my resume for part time employment and an agency called me about my resume.
She said not to take offense but she suggested I remove the section where it says I was a stay at home mom from August 1990 thru October 2005!!!
I could not believe it. She said some people/companies take offense or discriminate when a woman lists that they were a stay at home mom. I have never heard of this before.
He's still getting the family and home cooking in one place, and the sex in another.... I'm not sure he's the fool. :(
Looks like something right out of NOW. Whatever happend to NOW?
Here she is. Winsome-looking, which no doubt gives her a few votes.
Now this is different from the pic posted above. I guess she had to have a softer make-over.
For example, the openly bisexual legislator is asked what's the best way to hit on a politician at a nightclub. Sinema responded that she doesn't go much because "I feel short and fat, and they don't have those kinds of people at nightclubs.'' And she discusses her seven pairs of glasses and her wardrobe, describing herself as "a Prada socialist,'' saying people can still believe in fairness and justice "and still have fabulous accessories.''

She's a sicko and may she lose next week.
Ping to a steaming doo-doo pile.
Thank you! Your wife must be a happy woman to have you appreciating her like that -- a lot of men don't these days.
Btw, I would add "driving instructor" to that list of what stay-at-home moms do. It applies at least to me (I taught all four of our kids to ride bikes AND to drive cars, including teaching our youngest to drive stick. Now that takes courage, if I do say so myself!).
The jealousy thing is VERY big with women in this scenario.
I think it is a "self validation" issue. Because SHE is a working woman then ALL women have to agree with her in order to "validate" her need or simple desire to work.
Footnote: This is going to get worse in the legal profession because more than half of all law students nationally are female. Imagine a bunch of bitter career woman middle aged lawyers.
"..Sinema Show"
LOL. What a coincidence since I was listening to that very tune on my zen nano earlier this morning.
Well, isn't that nice. Daddy's little bisexual socialist. Narcissistic B**....
What baffles me is how people like this get into power.
Under organizations for her bio it list NOW and Planned Parenthood. That says it all.
I am afraid that particular job will be in my lap, when the time comes.
I'd say that it depends on how you spin it. Seeing "Stay at home" on the resume tells your potential employer that you have kids and gets them thinking in directions that you don't want them to think about... "Is she a single mom? Who will stay with the kids when they're sick? Will she put family over her job?" The answer to the last question should always be 'Yes' but sadly, not all employers see it that way.
Now, if you get a job interview and get asked about the gap in your resume, this is where the spin comes in..... "You want to know about communication? Let me tell you about communication. As a stay-at-home Mom of 16 years, I was extremely active in the PTO and facilitated multiple conferences between students parents and faculty."
"How is my organization? Well, as a stay-at-home Mom for 16 years, I planned, purchased, coordinated, and cooked meals for 6 people on a thrice-daily basis. While successfully implementing this project, I met or exceeded all budget goals for the overall food purchases."
Well, maybe I'm going a little overboard here :-) but there are plenty of things that you do every day at home that have relevance at work. For instance, keeping track of all the kids' schedules, getting them where they need to be, and not forgetting any of them, is no small task, I'm sure.
Guess my point is, that just because you're not working a 'formal' paid job, doesn't mean that you're not using all of the same skills on a daily basis.
/lecture off.
I would suggest you merely relabel your work for that time. Have you been paying the bills? You have been doing bookkeeping. Have you been homeschooling? Education. Cleaning? Maintenance.Grocery or other shopping? Supply chain. You get the picture. If they don't get it (the humor, but barely humorous) you probably don't want to work there.
Where;d you get that badge? I'm jealous!
