Tonight's "John Ziegler Show" on KFI 640AM in Southern CA played a clip from Senator John F Kerry's appearance at Pasadena City College with candidate Phil Angelides, Democrat for CA governor.
At the event, Kerry had this to say about our brave military volunteers:
"You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
Our military, our heroes.
The democrats are 'for the military'---until it comes to counting their votes.
Well .. you are so very welcome. The first time I read that I just burst into tears.
I love the last line: "Their skill and daring, discipline and endurance are without parallel in the world today."
More than a few politicians could learn a lot from these young people.
Ask your son if he can find anyone who attended and see if Kerry qualified his words in any way.
Michelle has it now:
You're on Milblogs - check the link at post #109.
I just heard this on ther adio & I am fuming.
What an arrogant POS
The Cowaedly, and the betrayers, allways
dress up their fear of the valiant with
contempt & disdain. Feigning bravado, in
attempts to cover their fear of being
exposed for what they are.

12 PROFOUND MINUTES
[Posted by: Major John]
The Army provides a 12 minute explanation of "Boots on the Ground." I just left a meeting of several hundred Illinois Army National Guard Soldiers a few hours ago. When this film clip was shown, there was stone silence when it ended. A profound message for those of us who have been given the honor, the privilege, and the responsibility to leader Soldiers.
Clip is here:
This does not surprise me. In one of the congressional races in Minnesota, the DFL challenger (Coleen Rowley) approved an ad replacing John Kline's Marine Corps uniform with that of an SS officer. She has even made comments that those who have served in the military are not fit to participate in the political process. One of her supporters is John Murtha - hold on a second, did not Murtha also serve in the Marine Corps. Oops, silly me, John Murtha became a turncoat traitor and a disgrace to the Corps so he's exempt from Rowley's sweeping opinion.
Thanks castle95 - you're in my prayers.
MSM? We don't need no stinking MSM! =)
Kerry is so ill informed about today's volunteer military he doesn't even know that at least a high school diploma is now REQUIRED to get in.
I hope the military everywhere hears this ignorant insult.
By the way, ha anyone heard - or keeping track of - the militarys ability to vote this time? Florida and Rendell in PA are notorious for suppressing the military vote with one shenanigan or another
maybe some patriot coming back from Iraq has an opinion!
Once more, we have the satisfaction of a well-exhibited truth.
This was unattainable not even 10 years ago.
My bad - castle05!
Advise your son to tell his buddy on top of the vehicle to lose the blank adaptor. He may need to use his weapon.
He said it - on tape - run it and let HIM explain himself....we, our troops and their families deserve no less! Good grief!
He doesn't have the character to be a dog catcher - nor the right.
He committed treason while in uniform - met secretly with the cong leadership in Paris = 3 x's.
According to our Constitution, this makes him a traitor - subject to incarceration - and NEVER eligible for elected office...(Carter and Kennedy got him off)
Thanks, AGAIN, BN. These men and women do alot more than "wear the uniform". Just makes me proud, y'know?
Here's an excerpt:
Kerry charmed the crowd with tales of surfing at Mission Beach and got laughs for a series of one liners, including telling the crowd he had just returned from Texas, "Where the president used to live - now he lives in a state of denial."
Kerry then told the students that if they were able to navigate the education system, they could get comfortable jobs - "If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq," he said to a mixture of laughter and gasps.
With a week left until the Nov. 7 election, the stop was just part of a whirlwind stumping tour for Angelides, as he tries to close in on Schwarzenegger. Some polls put the governor 18 points ahead.
How sad is that? We are so "used" to the privilege of actually having a say in our government, that we just "pass", like it means nothing.
It seems there is no "context" other than Kerry being a world-class jerk.
I got it. You're responding to my post #111 by telling me to read post #175. Think about it.
Geez, I have graduate degrees, and I was stuck overseas in Gulf War I. The Stanford M.D. who is the top clinical ortho spine researcher in the U.S. was stuck twice in Iraq & Afghanistan for 22 months total. Maybe more community college credits were needed to avoid this awful fate.
I think Michael Savage will have a lot of fun with this too. He really doesn't like Kerry.
God, this is unbelievable.
What a dumb bastard. He isn't fit to shine their boots. IMO
This is an all-time major league gaffe. I can't imagine how he's going to try to spin this.
And he did All This in a little over 2 months. Wow Hes done more that Sgt. York & Audie Murphy rolled into one /s
Sgt. Alvin C. York
Audie L. Murphy
I could care less what Kerry says, but I think he meant something else and does not have one bit of articulation in his body. As a military member, I don't even waste my time on him. The only reason I clicked this was to get a laugh during my day from his stupid comments. Kerry has made himself a joke since he ran and lost the Presidency. I don't remember what people thought of him before but he sure is like a nat now, you swat it away and somehow it always comes back.
Too bad an Apache gunship or a Warthog doesn't have a, ah, shall we say, "training accident" and "accidently" loose a rocket in the general vicinity of one of these houses.
Forgive me, but I am in a malicious mood after reading what this elitist pig thinks of our military.
the libs are already spinning this that he was talking about Bush
Do some searches on Pres. Bush's Crawford Ranch. Its alt-energy powered, has rain collection systems for irrigation, and waste water recycling.
I'm sure Effin invested in similar technologies as much as he preaches about them.
Filthy no-good lying French scumbag PING.
I'm with you!
And Election times put me on edge, always.
I don't wish ill on anyone, but FnKerry drives me right up a wall. Just seeing him on Fox News spewing his spit drives me nuts. I can just imagine how I would react if he were President. I would be using the remote a lot or putting my shoe through the TV.
My hubby fought on the ground in the Army in Viet Nam. And to have this barf bag talk about our soldiers like he does puts shivers up my back. How dare he!
I can not stand that guy. The same with that damn Fat Kennedy, either. Nancy Palosi! I need to go wash my hands now.
A pox on all their filthy houses!
Well, when I found out the FnKerry is financing the likes of Cindy Sheehan, it was enough to make me puke.
But it figures, doesn't it? Takes one evil person to recognize another. Cindy probably drinks beer with FnKerry's beer guzzling wife! Ugh!
A lot of class here, let me tell you! heh!
Yawn EFFING kerry is voicing the way his entire party feels about our troops. He hates them. He hates that they believe in fighting for honor and our country. He hates that he was such a p*%#$ that he lost to Bush.
What an idiot! I bet most of our troops who are taking college courses can pass with higher than a D average.
He's a puke. Nothing more, possibly much less.
>>> entire party feels about our troops <<<
More that that!
Hillary Delegates Spit on Police Honor Guard
Democratic Delegates Boo The Boy Scouts of America - - Same Group Spit On Cops' Color Guard in NY
kerry is a jerk and a coward bump!!
Playing to his audience...no big deal....
Drudge has audio link up.....
This morning I was happy to see Drudge has linked to the mp3 clip of Kerry. heh heh
