Dark and stormy night

Posted on 10/31/2006 1:19:21 PM PST by Snoopers-868th

I have searched and searched for the thread that was present late last week. Someone named Old sargeant or something like that started this story that was to be carried on by others on the thread. However, this person did such a good job that they continued the story. Can anyone provide the link please?

TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: dark; night; stormy
Thanks in advance as I know someone will know right where it is or the right keyword.

I think I found that thread but the one I am talking about was a huge thread. The one you refer to is rather small. I will look at that one again though, thanks.

"Detective Bart Lasiter was in his office studying the light from his one small window falling on his super burrito when the door swung open to reveal a woman whose body said you've had your last burrito for a while, whose face said angels did exist, and whose eyes said she could make you dig your own grave and lick the shovel clean."

Beautiful... I'm tearing up.

It wasn't Old Sarge. He hasn't posted anything since 8/10/2006.

Try this one: http://www.bulwer-lytton.com/lyttony.htm

The lovely woman-child Kaa was mercilessly chained to the cruel post of the warrior-chief Beast, with his barbarous tribe now stacking wood at her nubile feet, when the strong, clear voice of the poetic and heroic Handsomas roared, "Flick your Bic, crisp that chick, and you'll feel my steel through your last meal."

I saw that. It seems to me that it was Old Sarge. I will include him in this message and maybe he will respond. Maybe it was a revived Old thread.

It's not the one you're thinking of, but over five years ago we had an Interactive FR Novel called "A Wellesly Wench." It was the story of Hillary's college years, and it was probably one of the funniest threads we've ever had. Oh, and it starts, "It was a dark and stormy night."

It isn't the one but that one is also good. I love these threads. The one I am talking about had Percilla as one of the main characters. Her long lost uncle appears at the door and it continues. It was sooo good but I just can't find it. Thanks.

Thank you so much sockmonkey. I looked but I guess I am not quite as good as you are. It is exactly what I am looking for.

After you mentioned Percilla, I just typed freerepublic and Percilla into google, and found it. It's a fun read so far.
