Senator McCain told the truth tonight
As long as I am praising McCain, I will mention he did a pretty good smackdown (for him) of Colmes.
McCain is basically saying Kerry should have apologized and that his words can't be spun.
Allen's pathetically grasping at straws here.. "some" would say Bush is responsible for a Boitched war...some being you Allen?
This is so desperate.
I'm amused by McCain. The Liberals build him up, McCain wants to be the Republican candidate in '08, so even now when Allen wants to tear him apart apolitical Americans are going to be bemused by this initially and take McCain's side. Sure, McCain is right for once but watching the Left trying to attack him when by rights they have declared him untouchable is a sight to behold. They can't tear him down in a week. It would take months to destroy the image they've crafted for him, and they haven't got the time.
The only people that can tear down McCain right now are conservatives. And I'm content to let him go after Kerry in this instance. :-)
I'm sorry, I left per a trick-or-treater. I saw McCain saying that Kerry still needs to apologize and he disagreed with Colmes assessment of the situation.
All. Please add to what I said. I missed some of it.
Why isn't Kerry compared to Mel Gibson's tirade? The MSM didn't let that die for days? There were just plain no excuses.
The spin machine is on full blast....how stupid do they think we are....words mean something.....Kerry never mentioned the President in this so-called joke...he was telling his student audience to stay in school and don't be dumb enough to serve your country.
Colmes makes me sick.
Wow!
Alan is whining now!
I agree. It's been so long since McCain has done something politically worth giving him credit for. Aside from him military service, obviously.
Oh brother, Alan is really, really trying to sell the 'botched joke' excuse.
Total take down to the mat. That last comment was the best.
Now we have another rat telling us what we didn't hear...
I thought McCain looked old tonight. He looked like an old man.
He had one other good point. Even if it was unintentional, the right thing to do is make an apology.
Michael Barone is GREAT!!!!!! wahoooo
Allen's funny. You can feel the fear. Now the Dem contributor is stating Republicans don't want to talk about issues, and that Kerry isn't on the ballot. Um...haven't we said that about them and Bush? LOL
Barone just told Colmes he was full of baloney!! LOL!
Colmes sounds scared! I love it.
this is getting good - Michael Barone tells Alan he's full of it
There are those who will buy the spin and think it was all just fine, and blame Bush as before...life goes on without any interruption for those who get all their info from places like CNN.
wow listen to Michael Barone.. Alan you're full of balongna.
