Source Given a chance to defend Kerry, a decorated Vietnam veteran, Levin instead said that Kerry does not speak for the party, calling his remarks a "botched statement by a former candidate who doesn't represent this party."

I doubt the sincerity of Mr. Levin's comments, but am glad to hear him piling on Kerry. Still, when you are dissing your own, who you so recently sided with, it doesn't help much. Either way you look at Kerry handed the dems a shyt sandwich.

"It was not a botched joke."No, I just watched the video of Kerry's statement again - Kerry said it was a "White House's attempt to distort my true statement".
Incredible isn't he? Kerry first claims he "distorted (botched)" his statement, then turns around and says the White House distorted his statement. He admitted distorting his statement before he un-distorted it.
Is there a psychological term for this disease he has?

How does someone win the presidential nomination of a whole party when he doesn't represent that same party? Did he find the golden wrapper from a Wonka chocolate bar?

Yes, we have! We are working on a banner here at the hospital to encourage everyone to support the Troops, by voting for conservatives that will continue to support us while in harms way!

I have a feeling both Granholm AND Stabenow will be upset in Michigan. The polls are very close, but Michigan's economy is in dire straits. The anti-incumbent mood in Michigan will defeat both of them. It will be an upset similar to when John Engler surprised everyone by beating Jim Blanchard for governor.

He seemed quite peeved in the reply. Either he didn't like the question, or didn't like the context of the question as it pertained to Kerry. Hell, maybe both!

And then there's Howard Dean, DNC chairman, who is calling this Kerry gaffe a "blooper". Well, Howard Dean ought to know one since he DID one (and fell out of presidential contention).

Kerry is on the USS DNC's lifeboat and sinking fast.

Did he find the golden wrapper from a Wonka chocolate bar? Close. He spelled out the Ovaltine clues.
