Dear troops:
If you had been paying attention, you dumbasses, I have already apologized to you boneheads for not being smart enough to comprehend the nuance of my "joke." If you can't understand my considerable wit, it's no wonder you're all stuck in Iraq.
Sincerely,
John Kerry
P.S. If you aren't aware, I fought in Vietnam with rapists and murderers just like yourselves.

This is a perfect example of why "a picture is worth a thousand words." No editorial could better sum up the Kerry gaffe. Not only are these soldiers brave and patriotic - but they have a sense of humor. All the attributes Kerry lacks.

"It was on the front page of the New York Post today."
Coincidently, the ONLY paper in the top 25 to show a significant INCREASE in circulation -- about 5%. 23 others had a decrease and one had a 0.2% increase.
Anyone wonder why? Certainly the news media does. They get hit upside the head with the clue bat and can't figure out what hit them.

Click for NY Post article which tells who these heroes are
Staff Sgt. Erik Holtan, a member of the Minnesota National Guard, says he saw the picture and recognized the insignia as that of his fellow Minnesota guardsmen - and he immediately put it up on his own blog site.
"It's awesome," he told The Post. "The troops over there have to be livid because of what [Kerry] said. I don't know why he would say that."

Once someone is the object of ridicule, he is finished.
The best political tool around is to place the opponent in just this position.
It worked on Al Gore {sore loserman} and Kerry is so ripe for it, it doesn't seem fair. Hahahhaha

sheer arrogant stupidity
Fox&Friends played Letterman's take on it from last night. [I don't watch Letterman]. Letterman's take was anything but kind to Kerry. I was surprised. It referred to Kerry's arrogance.

From the article:
----------------------------
Fox News Channel quoted Army officials saying that the picture looked authentic and appeared to be taken in Iraq.
"We are always amazed at the creativity of our troops," one Army official told Fox.
Without citing sources, ABC News in Washington said the photograph was taken in Talil, several hundred miles south of Baghdad, where members of the unit are located.
By the end of the day, the shot was burning up the Internet - and was the most stinging rebuke to Kerry's knuckleheaded flub.
---------------------------------
LOL!!

If one hair on one head of these guys is mussed by payback, you will see the sleeping giant rise and stomp out the offender.
And it would be a beautiful thing to see.
I don't think these guys are worried about payback.

You can't believe the big smile I have on my face this morning after finding out these fine soldiers are from my home state! Woohoo!
Take that, John f'n Kerry, you arrogant piece of human waste. Take some advice from Billy Clinton and put some ice on that...

I bet this issue becomes one of the highest circulation papers of the year.
The NY Post is not suffering the declines in readers that democrat spin papers are.
