MIAMI The latest trend in the travel industry is marketing to couples intent on starting a family and relaxing at the same time.

Hotels around the world are luring conception-minded couples by providing everything from onsite sex doctors to age-old fertility boosters promised to hasten the special day. Such getaways are being called Procreation Vacations.

Judy Randall of Randall Travel Marketing in Mooresville says it's about getting pregnant in style. She says it's about Generation Xers making a big moment out of creating their offspring and doing it in a memorable way.

Even some obstetricians are promoting the trend. Dr. Jason James of Miami says he often encourages fertility-challenged couples to sneak away for a few days, and he often sees it work.

Well, according to the Levitra commercials, the tire swing is for tossing the football through. I suppose the ReddiWhip comes later in the ritual.

All you really need is duct tape. And that's under 5 bucks.

That's probably why you have all them kids and I got none. All I had was sticky back velcro and a staple gun.

Actually, this is not a absurd idea. Stress, including stress from trying to conceive, seems to lower fertility.

I am certain than all three of my children were conceived while my wife and I were travelling--two of them outside the US!

I'm betting it was the staple gun that really caused the problem.
