"You can always tell by the guys hairdo. Poofer. "

Things are tough for the Reverend about now, he's really feeling pretty Haggard. Oh wait, it was the gay escort who was feeling pretty Haggard.

I consider myself a pretty well informed Christian, and I have never heard of this guy.
Of course I stay away from all those TV preacher kooks. Is he one of them?

CNN had this story at the top of the hour. They are leading with this! Bias anyone?

I tend to think he is guilty of something. MSNBC reported that they did a voice comparison and it was a match.

The MSM is desperate for an issue to help the democrats.

I have heard of that organization. Just not familiar with him.

Is he a TV preacher too?

I know who James Dobson is. I like him a lot.

Do these guys not know that their personal lives are under constant scrutiny, not just from their congregation, but especially from their enemies? Are they so obtuse that they think they will not get caught? Are they so drunk with power that they don't think they will have to answer to their fellow Christians, not to mention God? He needs to resign just for unmitigated stupidity.

That said, the timing of this is suspicious. Watch the media play this up as another example of Republican immorality. One helping of hypocrisy served on a silver platter for Democrats...comin' right up!

Just to put this in perspective, there are two marriage-related initiatives on the ballot in Colorado this year. It is no accident that this particular allegation comes out just a few days before the election, especially in heavily Republican El Paso County.

One is a de facto "civil partnership" referendum, which grants insurance rights, etc., to unmarried couples. The other, Amendment 43, is essentially a "one man, one woman"

Whether or not the allegations are true, all or in part, this is not about Ted Haggard, it's about faggotry pulling the standard Democrat surprise trick.

I'm sure it has happened before, but I know of no instance in public life where someone is accused of being a fag where without question that allegation was false.

I wonder if there will be blowback in the gay community (no pun intended) from all of the "outing" in this political season. Does the gay community really want a complete purge of gay Republicans, church leaders, etc.? The dims are attacking one of their core constituencies.

For some perspective, we know that all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. Paul tells us:

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
1 Corinthians 6:9-11

The only one I can come up with is maybe Mike Piazza...but, in general, yeah, you're right.

Why would you even watch CNN after they became the propagandist for the terrorist?

Of course they are biased, and so, why would you give them you time of the day?

I was just curious about how they were covering the story.

My suspicions were confirmed.
