We named our brand new daughter Theresa Bendicta after St. Edith Stein (and, serendipitously after the new Holy Father). We now have 3 girls and 4 boys.

Both mom and baby are healthy, praise the Lord.

I don't believe the majority were not Jewish, but I do know they weren't all. This memorial is well deserved, too bad it took so long.

There were roughly 11 million people killed in the Holocaust. 5.3 -6 million were Jews.

There were roughly 27 million people of USSR killed during World War II. I have no idea how many of them were Jewish.

Quite a few were Jewish. However, there is a difference between people who died in generalized combat and civilian populations targeted for extermination.
