A defiant Saddam Hussein shrugged off a possible death sentence, saying he would die without fear and the US occupiers of his country would leave humiliated like they did in Vietnam, his lawyers said on Saturday.
They said a jovial and highly spirited Saddam chatted with them for more than three hours about the violence in Iraq and mounting US losses just hours before an expected death sentence on Sunday in his trial for crimes against humanity.

Thanks to the MSM, the Dems, and the CPSU-funded "peace groups". Vietnam was military victroy. Battle for battle, the South and its allies won. The Dems and their fellow traveller's pulled support for the Republic of Viet Nam in 1973 while the North had support from both the USSR and the PRC.

I really want the verdict read Sunday--I heard his lawyers were trying to stall. Any word on that at all?
I had heard that his one request was that he be shot by firing squad instead of hung. Pretty sure he's going to get the rope though.

Hanging is a good start. Hanging, drawing and quartering would be a good idea. And while they're at it, they should do the same to Ramsey Clark.
