I have already voted and am NOT buying the junk media hype. Don't mistake confidence for over-confidence. I say act like it is as bad as the Libs HAD been saying it was and then we can truly BURY them!
I do this every two years, and have successfully chased DEM Chicago machine operatives out of the northern Cook County area when I caught them red-handed, handing out campaign literature to shuttle buses of old people being dropped off at the polls from their assisted living residences.

Well, we've been told for months we are going to lose, so it won't be a big shock to us, but can you imagine the DUmmies???? They went into suicide mode when Jon Carry lost, what will they do now?

I listened to him on Fox and his partisan glasses were evident by his tone of voice. This guy has lost a lot of credibility with his comportment during this election cycle.
Sweet Jesus people, it is nice things are turning around and the Republicans have some momentum, but lets not forget the hole we had to climb out of in the first place. All this momentum may result in only a small loss rather than a big loss, but a loss nonetheless. I am not trying to depress anyone or be a nay sayer. I just think we should stop dancing in the end zone when the ball is on our own 49 Yard Line and there is under two minutes left in the game.
Get out and vote, volunteer for the GOTV efforts. Sacrafice an animal if that is your thing, just do something.

If Republicans do hold both houses, there is going to be a revenge factor. This was the nastiest election cycle ever.
Peoples lives were destroyed. Bush and Rove are not going to take this lying down. Rove will get his pound of flesh and Bush isn't going to stop him.
Revenge is a dish, best served cold.

No defense for optimism is necessary. There has been no change in momentum IMHO, just a change in how the numbers have been reported. They have been lying to us all along. They are now giving us CLOSER to the real numbers to cover their collective butts. And they can still be three or four points off in the Democrats direction EVEN NOW and still be considered fairly accurate when and if they lose.
I accept that, but want to make sure we keep fighting until the whistle blows.
