DEMOCRATS SEND CEASE-AND-DESIST LETTER TO REPUBLICAN CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE OVER AUTOMATED PHONE CALLS TO VOTERS
I "talked" to John McCain, Laura Bush, and Tommy Thompson, neither of which replied to my questions.
Liberals are out digging up dead bodies to vote. How about a cease and desist against Democrats in grave yards and in dementia units.

If it's from a known Democrat I hang up. If it's from someone that's running in a non party race (e.g., State Supreme Court or Circuit Court, etc.) I listen. In fact, one helped me to decide about a supposedly Non partisan "Independent" whom I knew nothing about running against a seated superior court judge here....ordinarily I'd have voted against the incumbent, but I found out the "Independent" is really a Demoncrat who won't admit it and has accepted donations from "amnesty for illegal aliens" Overall, if it makes the Demoncrats upset, then I AM FOR IT, PERIOD.
The new trick apparently is... I am calling to give you information about Candidate X. If you hang up, it redials you six more times. If you listen to the whole message, you know it's an attack ad, but the dims are getting their campaign offices flooded with angry calls about them calling non stop. It's not illegal. Well the multiple calls might be, but it's a good dirty trick.
If you have caller I.D. & don't answer the call then in 15 minutes the automated system calls you again. I let the answering machine screen the calls. The automated system recognizes the call as being answered and I don't have to listen to either one of the two. Dems and GOP you win no votes by pestering people to death each and every evening from the same candidates calling them every night.
Did they ask all our candidates to concede too?
Dems: I see your "cease and desist" and I raise you a "kiss and my butt".
I'm confused as to why. Is the GOP calling dem voters telling them that their day to vote is November 8th?
i can't stand them either and have been getting a lot. I already voted Straight Republican last week and don't need to hear anything to help me vote. In fact I think the majority of people have their minds made up one way or the other without phone calls.
I think you're right. Tom Ridge just called me. 52 calls and counting! It'll be 100 by the time the night is over. I'm probably on my own call list, I can call myself. "Hello, Mr. Big E, this is Big E with the Jim Gerlach campaign, and we'd like to ask for your support tomorrow......"
Actually, I forward the phone to my cell while I'm out, so I can be making solicitations on their phone, and receiving solicitations on my cell, all at the same time.
Besides Clinton today, Joe Piscopo (recording) called a few days ago representing Italian-Americans in NJ. Yesterday Mario Andretti did the same. Both urging to vote for Tom Kean, Jr. Along with those calls, I received a minimum of 20 recordings over the past week....both Republicans and Demorats.

Really, I've never seen a bigger bunch of juvenile hoodlums. Around here, the Move-On lib-Dem a-holes and whole-a's for two months have been sledgehammering our Fitzpatrick (R-8) for Congress signs, stealing yard signs, and spray painting bumper stickers. (Pennsylvania)
It is sickening. If that's the way the underlings act, imaging the Democrat being in charge.
I like the calls, it's great they're so organized. We had them from Laura Bush, Pres. Bush, John McCain and a few others just the last 2 days.
