ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- On Monday, Republicans failed in a last-minute effort to gain access to the names of about 27,000 foreign nationals, who had been issued New Mexico driver's licenses.
Judge Valerie Huling ruled that there was no need for an emergency action on the G.O.P. request, because the party's lawyers couldn not show that those driver's license holders would influence the election.
This summer, the G.O.P. asked for the information but was given a highly redacted list by the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles. The department claims that to release such information is a violation of federal rights laws.
The jude will hear more arguments on this case at a later date.
Patricia Madrid is going to win because all of the illegals who were given NM driver's licenses by our corrupt governor and with them, they were able to register to vote. Governor Richardson is half Mexican and Madrid is full, so it's obvious who all of the Mexican illegals will vote for!
Vice, avarice and treachery are the only way democrats can win. Just ask Bob Dornan, who lost his seat because of democrat proven fraud.
Bunk. Motor Vehicle Registries across the country release private information, including names & addresses to marketers.
If you think it is bad now, just wait until 2008 when Hildabeast is running. This is why this election is so important for them so they can set everything up for 2008. If they don't get the majority they will have a more dificult time.
All is not lost. Once GOP lawyers get access to the records after the election, if it can be shown that illegals aliens were voting, especially in significant numbers, then it will hopefully fuel enough national outrage to make sure it does not happen in 2008. If enough voter fraud is shown, it could be the basis for a strong legal argument demanding a new election.
That's totally irrelevant and not her call to make. Only legal citizens should be able to vote. Period.

You are making that mistake that many of us do. You are making common sense.
Or ask the people of Washington state about their governor.
The key words being "last-minute." It's ALWAYS last minute with Republicans, if they bother to make any effort at all. If Republicans lose in New Mexico because of voter fraud, they have no one but themselves to blame. Right now I'm so sick of the Stupid Party I could puke.
Should illegity be the basis for a good judge, not whether it will will turn an election? Disgusting fraud.
New Mexico has always won by blatant fraud - and got away with it
I blame much of this foolishness on Motor Voter law. People don't vote because it's too much trouble to register.
Another "mistake" is assuming that the law will be enforced in whatever plain language exists. Who cares about plain language when the looney left is ready to rescue us with a "modern interpretation". Up is down. In is out. Black is white. The Dims are respectable. ;)
the first thing she will do is to attempt to get rid of the Electoral college - something she has already said she intends to do = which will nullify the votes of the red states. She pretty much knows that's the only way she, and her socialist comrades get and retain power.
One more crucial reason we MUST win now
The Republicans have been trying to get the DL records since last summer, but have faced a bureaucratic stonewall at each turn. Maybe they waited to long to go to court, but they did pursue the admininstrative option first.
Good video at Channel 13 link. Madrid is such a dud, it must be because of her name only that she is competitive.

The "last minute" effort was one to try to get satisfaction they didn't get in an earlier bid.
Go back to DU and divide the Communists over there and stop trying to cause division here.
