Voted a week ago-absentee-voted straight "R" and voted against almost any damn thing that will raise taxes or "sell" more bonds!
California is a poster child for what happens when liberals control the legislature...
California was better off when the legislature was a part time job...In fact I would vote to have it return to a "part time" status.

My poll still had a line around 7:00 pm it could be an hour just to finish the people that were in line.
Is this just riverside or rest of California. Before I could vote this morning one of the poll workers had to go outside the front door a yell "THE POLL IS OPEN" and announce closing tonight when they close

ThomasThomas asks:
"Is this just riverside or rest of California. " Announcing that the poll is open is probably part of the process. This takes place after the head poll worker shows the empty ballot box to everyone in the polling place and then applies the seal to close the box.
When the closing time for voting arrives, everyone who is in line is permitted to continue to cast ballots, but anyone arriving after that instant is turned away.
