Voted really late--yesterday--but got my vote in! Hope Saxton wins. Greg Walden should have no problem--but listening to Fox News Special Report has me worried about the Dems picking up way too many House seats. Not sure I can stand to listen to any more news--so will be staying here for now.

Straight R; happy to vote against our incompetent incumbent guv and the bow-tied fairy(Bluemenaur). No on the levys. Yes on measures except 44 and 48. If they hadn't locked in a minimum growth number(%population growth plus inflation)I would have voted for it.

Voted straight R and turned in my ballot before noon today.

Never mail mine in either....I consider having to buy a stamp to mail my ballot akin to a poll tax. Dropped it off at a secure ballot box(guarded by 2 bored looking county workers). I miss the olden days where you went to the precinct and the workers knew you by name(even after the county moved the precinct because it was in a Catholic Church).

Hey no problem, just have homework to do tonight anyway. But I did have to turn off fox before I threw my tv out the window. Their methods for calling races with 1% of the vote in for the opposite candidate of who is winning while supposedly not looking at the exit polls was making my head want to explode!!!!!

I'm encouraged that Hooley has the lowest percentage. They ran a lot of ads against her.
KATU isn't showing which counties have reported yet, so I have no idea if these are Mult. #s or not.

As of 3 minutes ago, Multnomah and Lane Counties had the most reporting...think like a socialist Rat and you can picture the numbers on the ballot measures right now. But that was only 29% of votes counted. Things moveing fast on the state website now.

The numbers from Washington County look almost impossible to be believed. Kulongoski is up 10%. Throw in a close race in Jackson County, where Saxton needed a big edge, and this one is over.
I'm calling it for the inept Ted Kulongoski. May those of us in Oregon mire in our continued mediocrity.

Did any Oregonian's actually read the voter's pamphlet? Or did they just watch TV commercials?....lazy... selfish... good for nothin... (except the Freepers, of course)
I'm disgusted at the numbers for 43.
Last I saw, it was Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties they were reporting....is there hope??

Pathetic. 15 -year old girls should still be able to undergo a surgical procedure without the knowledge of their parents. Hard to believe that so few Oregonians can see the insanity in that.
To: used2BDem
Don't get down on yourself too badly there. We are gaining in some of these numbers. Hooley's, for example, are much lower than they have been in the past.
