The first paragraph of Reuters’ report on the win of former Nation of Islam spokesman Keith Ellison in Minnesota says it all: Minnesota sends first Muslim to Congress.
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Voters elected a black Democrat as the first Muslim in Congress on Tuesday after a race in which he advocated quick U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and made little mention of his faith.
They’ll be celebrating in Gaza tomorrow.
I voted Straight (R) In MN.
So did my Brother, Sister, Bro-in-law and Nephew
I never wanted to see this day.
He won in a very liberal district. That area is competing Detroit for most Crime. 50 deaths so far.
Its sucks.
I am buying ammo tomorrow. Lots of it. Then I wait, until what is coming comes.

but, that having been said, I must also say that I'm very proud to live in a state that elected the first Muslim ever to Congress at at a time when we're in the midst of a world war on Islamic fascist terrorists that have vowed to kill us all.
That's what makes Minnesota so "special."
Its a different county... I live in Isanti County, My sis and Nephew live in Anoka county.. Minneapolis is Hennipin county i believe.
MN is also the only STATE that voted AGAINST Reagan.. (I can bash MN because I'm A Hoosier) ;)
What about Cynthia McKinney? She was first elected many years ago.
We could have taken all the R voted in Isanti County and Ellison would have still won here.

I think those voting machines are the best and should be the standard everywhere in the country(although very easy, I could see massive fraud with that system especially with NO ID's being checked)

what was the voter percentage turnout?
you have to remember these "immigrants" are a "special " rights group and are VERY politically motivated. Like the homos. When tey decide to make a statement, 100 percent of them show and then they inflate themselves by getting all their friends to rally behind them, so they appear larger than they are.
