AP: Democrats win control of Senate

Uniting of Republicans must happen IN SPITE of Bush's OBL agenda, don't you see that? The point of my posts is to point out what that agenda is and why. Am I doing it harshly, you betcha. Until some republicans get their collective heads out of the Bush clowds, stop defending him and are willing to see the bigger picture, WHAT he is doing and WHY he is doing it, and what it has cost us as a county and a party, we will remain divided. It's not just 'one issue', it IS the entire WOT, and the bipartisan OBL, including Republicans who support it, is putting the sovereignty and security of our country at stake.

This is long but it will be my last post :) I agree with some of what you say. But I do not see uniting with some of what you said too. Insulting to say Bush clouds.

This subject can get really emotional and nasty. So I usually avoid it. I once was on a thread and I read a post about Jeb Bush being married to a Mexican. Like that has something to do with dictating President Bush' policies.

You know, some people just do not like Mexicans. I'm definitely not including you from what I read here. However, this does have a huge role in the policies. I have a neighbor like that. She actually took after me, for defending a nice LEGAL AMERICAN Mexican family. Amazing. She wasn't for the closed Boarders she was for no Mexicans legal or not. She used that excuse though. Sad really. It does make me question many people's motivation. We have to be careful don't we.

People should speak English to live in America. People should live our way of life in America. Most of all they should be here legally. Like I said earlier. President Bush inherited this from decades of neglect. To blame him for not fixing it in this political climate, I just won't do it. I pray he can do something while in office. I pray a Republican is elected for President in 2008. Hopefully the party won't be to split. Otherwise it will never happen.

I know I was only so blessed to be born here. I'm so thankful to God that my grandfather's father came from Italy. We agree change is needed. How these changes occur is another thing.

I agree to disagree. I'm moving on now.

I have never seen ANY actual footage of him saying so. And why would Harry Reid be trying so hard to get on Lieberman's good side with a promise to support him as commitee chairman?

Reid might be a Dim, but he's no dummy. Maybe he's just trying to mend fences.

This is all wishful thinking. Joe isn't going to flip and give us control of the Senate. He'd be facing a recall within a week if he did.
