However, once I got to reviewing it I realized what a smart move this seems to have been.

I think Rummy left because he didn't want to suffer the obnoxious questions of the midgets. Rummy is a giant and it makes me sick to realize that a noble man's efforts have been ruined by shallow politicians. I guess Rummy knew he had terrorists in front of him and midgets behind him and he still gave it his best effort.

If he's so great, why is he leaving?

I'm sorry for the mess up in Post # 1 when I put posted this. I messed up on the HMTL. Or HTML whichever it is...

It should have looked like this:

Melanie Morgan, Chairman of Move America Forward sent out this email a little after 8PM tonight.

Thanks to Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, and our Brave Troops, these Gold Star Families are in a Free Iraq encouraging our Military.

BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless you, Secretary Rumsfeld. We honor and thank you for your service! As the mother of a soldier who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom, I thank you for standing at the helm, braving the storm, and guiding our troops to victory. You will be missed.

I'm sure if you spend some time reading up on what has been going on the last couple of days, you will understand. We just had an election, and that's the only clue I can give you. Look around for more.

Rummy Rocks! But a replacement now is the smart thing to do.

Johnny Carson was doing a bang up job, and he retired also.

It wasn't Bush's call. Rumsfeld resigned.

A new duration is about to begin.

Maybe that rat you smell is closer than you think...:>)

His efforts haven't been ruined of yet. Not if we all keep the midgets in the fire! Long distance phone service is very cheap...

Rummy is no MacArthur or Patton, but he too will be missed by those who have been in battle and know the costs and don;t believe in cut and run as many in this nation apparently do.

Godspeed Rummy and Thanks!

Buy a clue, twaddle boy.

(I apologize in advance for that sentence...)

Nancy will be picking the next one, and even Hilliary will approve. No Problem.
