A statement purportedly from the leader of al-Qaeda in Iraq hails the defeat of Republicans in the US mid-term polls.
The audio message, whose authenticity has not been verified, was published on Islamist websites and was said to be the voice of Abu Hamza al-Muhajir.
The Democrats' victory in Tuesday's Congressional elections was a move in the right direction, the speaker said.

I'm at least FIFTY times more surprised the Bheeb is reporting it, than I am about the statement.

Actually that is a damn good idea. Someone in public should present her with a Burka and watch her reaction. If she rejects it she insults muslims and if she takes it well she will show her colors.

Alqaida, given hope by the election, or what the dominant analysis of the election is so far, has pledged anew to destroy the West, which would include everybody, Ds and MSM included. This announcement should be fairly jarring in the midst of the festivities if any Ds and peaceniks are sober enough to hear.

I just heard on the radio that Al Queda also said they wouldn't be happy until they blew up the White House. Don't see that in this story though. Hmmmmm.......

Nobody has moved out of their cabins on my street since Tuesday. That doesn't mean they are all Ds and stoned out of their gourds. Some are Libertarian or Green Party.
