Yes, and I might just get involved to assist.

"The Libertarians gave Montana and Missouri to the Dims! The time for a protest vote is the primaries"

Yes, I understand that... I voted straight Repub... but it the choices are Mccain/hil... my vote goes to liberatrians. I understand that Libert gave Montana /Missouri to Dims but what was the turnout by the Repubs in those states... how many stayed home and how many of the voted dims?

McCain's 'Gang of Seven' deserves to swing by the rope. The Monday night they announced their 'deal' on TV was every bit as shameful and disgusting as Tuesday's election.

Good conservatives like Allen & Santorum have been booted... while scum like Kerry & McCain will continue to ruin this Republic.

"Good grief, Savage had zero influence on this election. Zero."

He convinced my mother-in-law to not vote for McGavick and Reichert in WA state. She has a little coterie of friends that likely all voted the same. McGavick lost by a mile, but Reichert is currently barely winning and may end up dearly needing their Savage-influenced votes.

They added their miserable 2 cents worth, with an eye to THEIR future. If they were truly with us they would have tried to use their influence to sway the others. Its a business to them and the rest of the media. I listen to Rush every day; sometimes I have to turn him off. Sean is too sugary but I listen if I'm too lazy to change the channel. Laura is too shrill for my poor ears. Her giggles and music are out of place. Levin truly is the great one. He takes no quarter and gives none. He's not a bit PC and he's tough. I love the guy.

"Best comment on the thread was the poster who said Clinton was a mole."

I meant to respond to that comment but couldn't find it again! I've always believed that Clinton and Hillary are both moles. What else could explain their mission to destroy America as we know it?

It occurred to me this morning that all these votes against the Republicans are in retaliation for our being in Iraq "saving those people". They are too stupid to see that the terrorists ultimate goal is to kill all of us, every last one who is a non-believer. How many times do they have to state that before people believe them?

And for those who believe that the World Trade Center was the work of Jews or our own Goverment, I guess they haven't seen the videos the terrorists have presented showing them seated in front of giant photos of those burning towers, praising the work of their fellow b.....ds.

I did have the honor of voting for Barry Goldwater and the only only person who ever admitted it to me was a Judge who presided at a murder triel. I was privileged to be on the jury.

Hey Slick, I'm 4th Generation Miliatry (3 generations of Marines before I spent 12 years in the Navy). I'll say whatever I want about his service, if you don't mind. I think I've earned that right.

He's done nothing but sully and dishonor himself, and lost any right to speak with any moral authority on anything ever since he's entered politics. CFR, all the cheap and empty immigration talk, the Ganag of 14, the Keating scandal, the dirty shenanigans in the primaries leading up to '00. He's a maniac and a self-promoting slimebag, who is fortunate there are somehow still republicans dumb enough to support him.

If you ask me, John McCain geting tossed out of office with the rest of the dead weight last week would have smelled like victory. Unfortunately, we're stuck with him for the foreseeable future.

You should get your mother-in-law away from that poison. If she wants the real deal Levin is the guy. If she wants meatball recipes then I suggest the Food Netwok.

>Santorum.<

Has everyone forgotten that W signed the U.S. away with the North American Union agreement with Canada and Mexico the minute he was re-elected? The twelve lane NAFTA Highway will be a drug dealer's dream, and will cause grief to many American property owners. But the heck with that. W. is a good guy, nez pas?

You got it! And more than ever before.....just voting isn't enough any more. We have GOT to get out there and WORK for our very future and for our lives and that of our familes, in this next Presidential election!

___
I agree with you. We need to start this and be real active during the primary. That is the best chance of getting the best conservative to run in the General election, which is the best option for this country also.

In the last 5 years McCain's been more interested in pleasing Don Imus, democrats and the hollywood elite than conservatives. They think they've got their man with John McCain. They can have him.

"Besides being the lamest reason I've ever heard for a president to sign a law he doesn't like, it is the wrong answer...it takes a 2/3 majority to do it...not enough votes (because, as you're still seeing, the politians love to keep the money coming)."

The bill was passed with 2/3rds of each house.

"They're not lies...look up the damned record for proof."

I did look at the record. They are lies.

"I happen to know a bit about the Guard and Reserve because I'm a retired Naval reservist. To have a "good year", a member is required to make 60 points--there 4 points for every weekend drill (48) plus 14 for the two week ACTDUTRA. That adds up to 62 points--they allow you to miss a full day of drill but, if you want to be promoted, you usually try to make in excess of 70 in that regard--Bush's record shows inconsistencies trying to do that click here ...regardless, he admitted he did not make all of his scheduled drills"

He did not say that at all. He said he did not make them all up in TEXAS.

"when he was working on an Alabama congressman's campaign. Now, I want to make myself clear, I am not criticizing him for the make ups; only that his military service seems to pale against what John McCain went through during the same period of time."

After the campaign, that he was excused for he made up all points that were still needed, and made more points than needed to leave the reserve several weeks later.

And again, he had permission to miss some drills in Texas and make them up in Alabama.

One other thing. You referred above about what it takes for a promotion. Bush was looking to finish what he needed to do in the reserves. He was not looking for a promotion.
