Murder spree in Tijuana after US authorities detain suspected drug kingpin
Fox News "Weekend Live" | Nov 12, 2006 | Adam Housley

A murder spree began in Tijuana, Mexico shortly after American authorities detained suspected drug kingpin Francisco Javier Arellano Félix last August. In September, 44 people were killed, including 5 police officers. Police say the killings are the result of internal strife within the drug cartels, as those in the organizations kill anyone in their way and fight for the power that was vacated upon Arellano Félix's arrest. The killings dropped a bit in October but have since intensified with 11 homicides in the first week of November. The violence has prompted the city's Secretary of Public Security, Luis Javier Algorri Franco, to request that the Mexican army be put on the streets to help make the city safer. He says the army has the large caliber weapons, automatic weapons, and training capable of confronting the violent drug gangs.

8 police officers are dead since September. The mayor of Tijuana says that his streets are still safe.

Any American going to that pit should have his/her head examined.

We need a HIGH WALL, a VERY HIGH WALL!

Well, it's time to open the wallet and buy a Glock 9mm and a 12-guage. And a few boxes of ammunition. I can shoot. The border is only about 250 miles away from here. I know somebody nearby that has an SKS sniper rifle. That's also not a cheap weapon. You can't shoot today. The wind blows squirrels off the trees and little birds duck under the
limbs. Take a shower and walk around nude for 4 minutes. You won't find a single wet spot after that around here. Lol!

Oh, man! It's getting so a guy can't buy illegal fireworks and switch blades anymore without getting shot at. What has happened to the once safe and wholesome city of Tijuana?

I remember many years ago when Mexican immigration officials would turn away and not let enter many Americans who had long hair and looked like hippies or possible drug users.
This ofcourse all changed when the US was able to curtail drug traffic through the Caribean corridor and forced this traffic inland into Mexico.
Although Mexico (as all countries)had its share of corrupt official in government. Before the drug trade moved, most government officials at least worked to create jobs and therby increase the funds in the treasury from which they could grab what they needed.
Today that is not necessary, the billions in drug money that go through Mexico make it easy for them to be bribed to look the other way. No actual public work is needed for them to enrich themselves. Ofcourse there are exceptions.
What really bugs me is that Most Americans so easily point their fingers at others and not themselves.
Who consumes the drugs? Americans. Who provide many of the weapons that enter into Mexico? (where owning a gun is illegal) Americans.
Why is there such incredible violence in Mexico. Drug cartels fighting for a piece of the American drug consumer proceeds.
Why are so many Mexican running in droves into the US?
There are no jobs in Mexico, too many politicians are busy collecting their drug bribes and don`t give a hoot about the well being of their people.
Compare the flow of illegals to the US in the period before Mexico became the highway for the drugs to the US!
Mexicans could actually support their families with their jobs and only the adventurous would go to the US.
Then the blame game, illegals use our medical services, illegals send their kids to our schools etc etc. But few dare to mention the billions of taxes that many of these illegals (YES BILLIONS)put into social security funds and will never be able to gain anything form these in older age. Same is true for MEDICRE. The social security people say that without the contribution of these illegals the fund would have collapsed long ago. Search the New York times article on this...
SO please before acusations overflow both ways lets follow the old and wise bible saying `` let he without sin throw the first stone`` AMEN...

Hello Guest Voter Program.
***I know this is a controversial parallel, but... that's what happened in South Africa. Apartheid was a half-hearted attempt at controlling millions of illegal aliens in that country. If there had been no illegal immigration problem, there would have been no Apartheid.

Bush doesn't give a damn how many Americans will have to die to fulfill his vision of a borderless North America.

I know this is a controversial parallel, but... that's what happened in South Africa.

Nothing half hearted at all. It is bowing down to an invading hoard by being so pee-cee as to be afraid to enforce the law. It is cowering in the presence of evil such as SPL and ACLU. It is exactly what happened to Rhodesia and that traitor Jhummi Carter is holding a large portion of the blame for that and it is the ultimate fate of South Africa unless they throw off the shackles of pee-cee and adopt a common sense approach (shooting war) to the communist scum that utterly destroyed Rhodesia.

And my friends, it is EXACTLY where the United States of America is headed right now.
