Can he decide who he caucuses with on a vote by vote basis or it it decided at the beginning of the session?

"the Republicans are defending 21 seats in 2008 and the Democrats are defending only 12."
Yikes, I had hopes we could take back the Senate in 2008, but those odd are almost insurmountable.

I hope the Republicans pull the same crapola the dems pulled in the senate. If they don't, I will consider them all ball less.

Slow down and think long term. RINOs don't help anything.

Ditto what Bahbah said. He has to show the proverbial "stick" from time to time, it appears, to make Harry jump. But unless Harry does something VERY foolish by sc**wing Joe, Joe won't switch.
Still, look for Joe to vote for (cloture on) some Bush judicial nominees, as he had done before.

I'm afraid Lieberman is a member of the open borders club.
To: WashingtonSource
Yes he is, which flies in the face of Homeland Security or fighting terrorists.

You need to learn the difference between tactical and strategic planning.

He also knows that Iran is serious about going after Israel, and he's a practicing and devout Jew.
One of these morning's we'll wake up to war here at home again, and everyone will suddenly be out saying, "I told you so."

Anything that annoys the Dims is great, but I wouldn't trust this weasel.
Ole Joementum is in it for himself.

We need Lieberman and Webb. Carl Levin et al just might be enough of a reason.
