I had wished he would knock Hillary out of the Senate this year, but President Rudy? I don't know about that one.

ALERT: Certain Freepers vow to vote for Hillary instead of any Republican who doesn't agree with them on every single issue under the sun.

I agree. I am from NYC. People don't know much about him, they saw him stand strong on 9/11 and think he is some sort of hero. Just wait. You don't want him. He is a hot head of the first order, does not play well with others (anyone! total micromanager) and he is very liberal.

So far, Rudy, you're leading my list (and with the present GOP field, don't give up your day job!)

I just heard an ad on WHO, the 50K watt radio station out of Des Moines, Iowa. It was promoting a Draft Rudy petition which is being circulated throughout Iowa. Interesting.

Rudy deserves to have his chance in the primaries. However, I do wish FReepers would stop fawning over him this early and annointing him already.

We're not fawning, we're just hoping for a candidate who can win.

It would be nice to have candidate that has the ability to steal some votes from the other side and garner moderate independent voters.

We'll need them because we can't rely on the fickle far right wing. If the candidate ain't perfect they piss in their milk and go home. Who needs "friends" like that?

>>>>>Give Rudy a break, he doesn't go out of his way to stick his finger in the eyes of conservatives ...

Giuliani is pro-big government, pro-abortion, pro-partial birth abortion, pro-gun control, pro-homo rights and pro-illegal rights. As a conservative, I find all of Rudy`s "pro" positions, one big fat stick in the eye to ALL conservatives.

Rudy would have eviscerated Hillary in those debates that Lazio butchered. Rudy had cancer treatments to undergo ... sheesh.

That would be awesome. Barbaur does a great job, whatever he does.

Whatever task he's been given, he did it VERY WELL.
Thats the kind of candidate we need.
