Iran's president said on Tuesday he would soon send a message on his country's policies to the U.S. people, whose government is facing calls to engage the Islamic Republic to help quell violence in the region.
Washington is leading efforts to press for United Nations sanctions on Iran over its nuclear work, but at the same time is conducting a review of its policy in Iraq which is expected to recommend the administration engage with Iran and Syria.
"Many of the American people have asked me to talk to them and explain the opinion of the Iranian nation. Soon it will happen and I am going to send them a message," Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told a news conference.

This guy is completely mad and out of touch with reality.
Where did Iran lay their hand on an ICBM?
What gives you that idea?
Isn't that obvious that this idiot is going to use the nukes and kill all of us?
Personally, I'm tired of him making threats and the world doing nothing about it. We are such wimps here in the US to turn our backs from this guys threats.
"What gives you that idea?"
Exactly. I know lots of folks that can keep people from blinking while they speak. And I've often seen people giving speechs while bathed in Allah's lightbeam.
Oh please their nukes are for peaceful purposes. They wouldnt lie to us. They are our friends. They took care of Americans for 444 days while Uncle Jimmy was President. At least thats what it says in my daughters history book.
Rats: Somebody set up us the bomb!
Like the last messages he sent...
Bow down to Islam or die.
This is, what, maybe the hundredth time he's issued some kind of message? Why are we even paying attention to this clown, other than to keep our cruise missile coordinates updated...
More likely it will be a warning for the US not to come to the aid of Israel. He is setting up the conditions for the destruction of Israel.
They just kidnapped 150 Iraqi government workers...
What else may be in store now that our enemies have been emboldened by the election of RATS in the US?
Ahmadinejad says celebrations near
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday said Iran would soon celebrate the completion of its controversial nuclear fuel program.
"With the wisdom and resistance of the nation, today our position has stabilized. I'm very hopeful that we will be able to hold the big celebration of Iran's full nuclearization in the current year," the hard-line president told reporters during a press conference.
Iran's current calendar year ends on March 20.
The hard-line president also claimed that the international community was caving in to Teheran's demands to continue its nuclear program.
"Initially, they (the US and its allies) were very angry. The reason was clear: They basically wanted to monopolize nuclear power in order to rule the world and impose their will on nations," Ahmadinejad said.
"Today, they have finally agreed to live with a nuclear Iran, with an Iran possessing a nuclear fuel cycle," he said, without elaborating.
Uranium enrichment at low levels can be used to produce fuel to generate electricity but at higher levels can be use to make atomic bombs.
Iran has said it will never give up its right under the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty to enrich uranium and produce nuclear fuel.
Officials have said they plan to generate 20,000 megawatts of electricity through nuclear energy in the next two decades.
Probably rig one of his drones with explosives to attack a US carrier in the gulf.
You know how these Dhimmicrats are, make your enemies your friends!!!
Looking forward to us nuking this MF. Unfortunately, he'll hit Israel first...we've discovered the hard way that the "American people" and our buddies at the UN have no stomach for pre-emptive military action.
