Nuke Iran's oilfields, then they'll have nothing. Food for uranium.

The Democrats respond we should take the olive branch of Iran and work with them like Clinton worked with Korea... I guess we don't have anything to worry about as long as Democrats are in power.. Maybe that is their new message.. America is only safe with Dems in power because all the deals they have made will not stand up to any Conservative minded President.

Thankfully, the Dems have a plan: Here is what they say they'll do about Iran:

"Redouble efforts to stop nuclear weapons development in Iran and North Korea."

I feel safer already.

To make sure Iran doesn't FedEx a nuke to us, they will: "Screen 100% of containers and cargo bound for the U.S. in ships or airplanes at the point of origin and safeguard America's nuclear and chemical plants, and food and water supplies." Sounds doable!

we have already had loss of liberty... when was the last time you travelled? How much additional fiancial burden was placed on Maerica in increased security, the wait times, the insurance costs, loss of life 9/11, loss of real estate, effects on the financial institions?

Security measures are more a loss of convenience than freedom.

Whether or not there is peace in the Mid East depends on the Mid East. My concern are these shores.

DANG! That sounds just like quotes from the resistance in Iraq.

LOL! Right. There is NO Patriotic resistance in iraq. The "resistance" you speak of in iraq is NOT a resistance against a takeover of their Country, Religion, or lifestyle. It is a resistance to PEACE. The "resistance" in iraq are cut-throats who will kill and torture their OWN in the name of a pedophile god.

It is those satan worshipers that I WILL resist.

He's right. We need to correct our behavior.

Instead of wringing our hands and talking endlessly like a bunch of fools and cowards, we can start by turning over a new leaf by carpet bombing his nuclear facilities.

Next we can go on from there and turn over some other new leafs by shifting our aim points and taking out the rest of his lousy country.

Carl Levin will be the new head of the Senate Armed Services Cmte. Here is his plan for Iran, which accodring to Carl Levin may be pursuing nukes. He is not sure: "Iran has not fully disclosed its nuclear activities, as required by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, and may be seeking the ability to develop a nuclear weapons program. Senator Levin will continue to focus on proliferation concerns and nonproliferation programs during 2006." He can't even come out and say may be seeking nuclear weapons. It is just a "program" they are seeking.

The democrats believe in a UN tax to share Americas wealth with the world. They also believe the only way to guarantee peace is to share Americas power with the world. They have no idea what goes on in the real world. It's like their brains are high on drugs or something, and they think they're planting daisy's.

You know, the world hates us anyway. Why not take out the North Korea and Iran leaders? It will Bush's legacy that he acted when others wouldn't. Might cause a little stir, but its not like his poll numbers can go any lower. He has nothing to lose unless he is making the rounds for a presidential library in Crawford. Boy, it gets mighty hot down there. Hope they have one of those 'mister jiggies' to knock down the heat in the porch area in case there's a line.

the issue has to be dealt, islam needs to be irradicated, elsewise it will continue its path from 700 ad.

they are doing global jihad. did you see the documentary obsession? THAT is what is happening throught the thirdworld nations and the marginal economies. Soon it sill be just an issue of numbers likened to a trains momentum.

iran and Syria are the nexus of this and yes there are some additional minor players. the nexus needs to be nichted!

what ever has to be done , has to be done.

The U.S. should start bombing Iran's nuclear sites immediately and keep bombing them until they have been pounded into oblivion. At the same time, we should bomb their oil pipelines, completely shutting them down. These actions will castrate Iran and force regime change without a single American soldier entering the country.

Instead, it sounds like the new Secretary of Defense favors appeasement, and Bush will coast into retirement without taking decisive action.

It's not the US's behavior that caused Iran to go nuclear, it was the UN and we need to tell the UN once to get Iran to stop with the nukes or we will eliminate the UN from our soils and immediately begin measures that will assure their program ceases forever.

As per this news story, and as per usual, every word out of Ahmanutjob's mouth is a perfectly neat and clean and thorough example of what Freud called "projection": Unfortunately, the folks over in power in Iran, and many other places, have been untouched by the influence of the Renaissance, the Englightenment, not to mention the 20-th Century, so they would never come to that dimension of self-knowledge where they could even understand what projection IS, and why it should be avoided if one wants to be taken seriously in the modern world/.

Does anyone else feel as frustrated as me? It might be a sin to even think it, but I'm so sick of these bufoons that I'm about ready to just end them completely. I mean completely. Enough American blood has been spilled already in Afghanistan and Iraq. Instead of starting a major war, incurring heavy casualties, probably starting a draft to make up for the losses, rationalizing production, etc etc etc, just give them the glass-floored self lighting parking lot treatment.

Like I said, it might be a sin to even think such a thing, but I'm quite sick of having to look at this guy.
