The GOP needs some testosterone pills and a spine. They've been letting the Liberals run the show for the past six years instead of fighting back. Now, all of us have to pay the price. IMO, it's time to use the Liberals tactics of obstructionism on them for the next two years. And, it's way past time to investigate all the corruption that is the Liberal Democrat Party.
When Denny Hastert, Speaker of the House, demanded all evidence collected from William Jefferson's office, (d. La), be returned and that the Justice Dept had no authority to search House offices,
that was the end (imo) for many voters.
If Hastert, Speaker of the House, had said he supported the Justice Dept and wanted to see immediate indictments (have there been any?) and the House ethics would hold immediate hearings on the Suspension and Removal of William Jefferson, then...

If I read you right, we should grab the Iraq oil fields and protect them as US interests. I agree. Using the US military as the policeman to the world doesn't work, nation building doesn't work and spreading democracy to the Islamic world is an effort in futility. My district sent Dave Camp back for another term. I did send him an e-mail today saying I would appreciate a conservative being elected for Minority Leader in the House.
