Conservatives with Attitude! insiders are informing us that Congressman John Murtha will DROP OUT of the running for the number 2 spot in the House as Majority Leader.
Even if he does stay in the race, he will fall short by a few votes.
This will serve as a big blow to Nancy Pelosi.

Yes you are correct, I mispoke... he was up for Majority Leader.. not speaker, Pelosi herself will be the next speark.
Dems are in a no win, at least when it comes to IRAQ...
Now that they have won the election on a platform of out of Iraq... they are rapidly finding we can't just get out of Iraq.. (not that it wasn't common knowlege to begin with) but they pandered to that moonbat base on that issue... and they won't be able to deliver.... so will the moonbats turn on them? Or quickly forget the supposed quagmire of Iraq ?
Now the dems are going to be forced to govern, and find all that hateful rhetoric they've been espousing for the past several years coming back to bite them on the but... they are also going to learn that those moonbats aren't reasonable folks...... They fully expect delivery on the promises made to them... and will be screaming bloody murder when it doesn't happen. Doesn't matter they are <1%ers.. they are going to make it impossible for the Dems to remotely legislate from anything remotely center or even reasonable IMHO.
I can guarantee america this much.. the Border Fence is DEAD.. Immigration reform is DEAD.. Bush didn't want it, and the conservative base is the only reason we got what we did, now that dems have taken over you better believe Bush will offer that up immediately to the DEMS.......
If there has been a failing in foreign policy by this administration it hasn't been Iraq, Afghanistan or the general WOT... its been the handling of things in this hemisphere, particularly immigration. We have a growing communist influence south of us. And on dealing with China.. a topic far too long for me to go into here.
Pelosi, Ried and the MSM have 18 month to start a recession and a US defeat and subsequent civil war in Iraq. All will be blamed on Bush, paving the way for a Democrat president and a black eye for Bush. This is their plan. Dont believe for a minute that they want the US to succeed under Bush. Its just reality, they crave power and hate Bush.
I don't know if that would earn me high marks with conservatives or not. Reagan was a great president, but truth to tell, he ran from Beirut. At the moment, I care more that Hoyer backs Bush than what he said about a president who failed, let's be honest, a crucial test 20 years ago. < /rant and flame away>

You are right. Half of what Murtha says is silly or wrong - like his Okinawa comment... He's either not too bright, or needs to retire.

I hope you guys and gals know it was cause of you and the new media that Murtha lost. It is awfully hard for them to hide his stupidity (Load of Crap) and his corruption (ABSCAM) anymore.

It could be the fix was in, and the dhimmi's didn't even know it. (Of course, you could say the same thing about all of us, who felt the pain of this loss so hard, that the fix was in and we didn't even know it.)
