Cable-industry legend Ted Turner has traveled the globe urging friendship instead of fighting.
He even donated $1 billion over the past nine years to the United Nations to promote world peace.
But don't ask him to share warm feelings about Rupert Murdoch, chairman of News Corp., or Time Warner Inc., which purchased Turner Broadcasting System Inc. in 1996...

Cable-industry legend Ted Turner...The man is a legend in his own mind, only.
He is a traitorous limousine-liberal with too damn much money.
And his taste in women sucks.
Especially the ones that he marries.

I bet it really bothers him that Fox News is blowing the doors off of CNN. Of course that's not surprising since CNN currently has all the production standards and talent of a bad high school TV station.

Ted is proving once again that he is manic depressive and is down a quart on his lithium.

Ted boosts about giving a billion dollars to the U.N.----
Then Teddy riles Murdoch for not giving a penny to charity....If Teddy thinks the corrupt U.N. is charity,
he really is going senile.

He even donated $1 billion over the past nine years to the United Nations to promote world peace. Money can't buy you love.
Of that 1 billion dollars did 999,999,999 go to Kofi and 1 dollar went to promoting peace.
That seems to be the results so far.

[...$1 billion over the past nine years to the United Nations to promote world peace]
[[Of that 1 billion dollars did 999,999,999 go to Kofi and 1 dollar went to promoting peace.]]
By my rough guesstimates, about 50% went to support the useless UN bureaucracy, 20% went into the pockets of other corrupt crony individuals and groups hanging out at the UN, 20% went into building a few dozen palaces for Saddam Hussein and supplying him with his Harem girls and solid gold backscratchers. Another 10% went to actually supplying and supporting UN peacekeepers to strife ridden areas where they were either completely useless or else participated in abuses, rapes, assaults and other atrocities. And that leaves about 1 dollar for peace.

This jackass was kicked out of a restaurant line in my county some years ago.
He was with jane (not the good Jane from Jane and Tarzan fame but the evil Hanoi jane witch,
They wanted cuts to the front of the line.
They asked for the Manager.
The manager said everyone waits in line except you. You SOB's are 86'ed.
Why the world doesn't have the same good common sense as that manager is beyond my personal understanding - at least this time...

I thought he promised to donate $100M for each of the next ten years. You might say he's donating the investment returns on $1B to the UN.
