Hmm. A 15 year old juvenile kills a Briton working with the Mark Warner presidential bid. Must be another VRWC.

Additional coverage:
"Senitt's throat was slit early July 9 as he escorted a female companion home in the upscale Georgetown neighborhood. The woman, who has not been identified, was sexually assaulted during the robbery, police said. Prosecutors have said that Rice, Piper and the teen attacked Senitt and the woman, and that Rice inflicted the fatal wound. Miles allegedly drove them to and from the scene."

Georgetown is upscale but sure seems to get its fair share of murder and crime.

I used to eat at the Tombs, walk down the Exorcist steps, and visit Winstons on M Street. At the time Winstons was still known as a Susan Ford (daughter of the Prez) hangout. I would also wander around the canal tow path late at night but that was probably not smart then or now.

The UK is a very dangerous country these days. If the woman had made the mistake of defending herself, she would be facing jail.

This crime happened in Washtington, DC's Georgetown neighborhood. There too it would not be surprising if someone, especially a man, were brought up on charges of defending oneself against thugs. DC has gun control.

Perhaps some confusion here. Mr. Senitt was from the UK but he was doing his master's degree studies in Washington DC. The murder occurred in Georgetown, a toney upscale district in the city.

In DC, if you go to Georgetown and help kill someone, you get five years in the juvie. This case was sickening, although I did wonder why this kid would come to the US to work on Warner's campaign, in Virginia, and live in Georgetown. I suspect its party potential was part of the decision-making process on where to live. I make it a point to avoid Gtown at night.

I certainly find it odd that 3 adults planned, coordinated, and executed this crime. The rape of the woman and the killing of the man would indicate that a message was sent. Hard to believe that this was random.

This was totally random, and totally typical of crime in DC. Those guys were cruising Gtown looking for someone to rob. The rape was an unexpected bonus for them. They are without doubt products of the DC schools, which means functionally illiterate, and mean little sociopathetic bastards. All last summer, gangs from the same socio-economic group were criusing the National Mall doing the same thing. They cracked down on them because it has "harming tourism." This is par for the course in DC, and nobody thinks anything of it. The "community" views the perpetrators as victims of a racist system. Read the paper here for a couple of months and weep. There is a reason why Georgetown declined the privilege of having Metro run out to M Street and Wisconsin.

Washington is the quintessential liberal ghetto. The irony is that as everywhere else the vast majority of residents are friendly, helpful and "normal" by anyone's definition, I experienced it first hand.
My daughter attended and graduated from Georgetown, and between 1990 and 1996 I made perhaps a dozen trips to DC, staying at the hotel on campus most of the time. I walked the neighborhood, as well as the usual tourist sites and government venues.

The problem is that the criminals in the DC area are almost all of a single race, which makes them, and the entire crime issue "out of bounds". After all, the wielders of power there are all constantly protected. No one else is.

The recent spike in crime on the mall, targeting tourists, flared briefly, then disappeared from the national consciousness; or at least the reporting of it.
If a serious effort effectively to reduce crime in DC has been attempted in the last 20 years I am unaware of it.
The fact that a convicted felon was re-elected mayor of DC speaks volumes.

Shhhhh. You are going to make this a racial issue? That is why only the link was provided.
The other two adult suspects have not been identified by photographs.

<< You are going to make this a racial issue? >>

The way it was written did that.

The writer dare not write about what actually happened and by whom the crimes were committed for fear he be called "racist" by those who insidiously invented the modern usage of that word of little meaning and who use it to assault, to demonize and to marginalize.

Good-on-yah, Fred. Beaudy, mate!

thanks! Would I have posted his image if he were white? You betcha I would. I wanted to know what the scum looked like, not what colour his skin might be.

This PC business simply irritates me. Do we need to be told on the TV news that an 'Australian' man has been arrested on terrorism charges in Yemen for example, and later we find that he's a Yemeni muslim with dual citizenship?

It makes a mockery of every report we hear or read. In Norway, suddenly, it appears that Norwegian men are pack-raping Norwegian girls...when in fact, the perps are often black muslim Sudanese.

PC treats us like mushrooms...keeps us in the dark and feeds us horse-shite!

Our respective nation's elitist parasite bureaucracies, each of which has granted itself incredibly more power than any gang aught have, let alone a gang of public employees and has made itself self-anointing, self-appointing and self-perpetuating; -- yours via its ownership, operation and control of the "Public Service Board" and by having (for Goodness sakes!) created for itself an ACT "government" and ours via the same kind of mobbed-up union power that one sees running things (as often as not into the ground) in Australia; -- will have a lot to answer for when the full effects of their Socialist International serving, delusionally fantasized but nonetheless institutionalized twin tyrannies of "multiculturalism" and "PC" come home to rest. (Both countries "public services" pay themselves two or three times what their interference would cost private enterprise)

Per the hands of said "public servants" each country's previously homogeneous immigration program has been turned into a nightmare from Elm Street-like scenario by having, for one cocked-up "reason" or another (in part as repudiation of and "redress" for the "white Australia policy" in your case) effectively almost totally turned its back on Northern European emigrants as the main source of immigration migrants and having instead turned to the third world for any kind of migrant likely to be less inclined to assimilate or -- as in the case of large numbers of muslims -- to be forever unassimilable within Civilized Society.

How long, I wonder before we reach the stage of, say Norway, where a muslim convicted of a brutal rape of a Norwegian was fairly recently given a light sentence because, the judge said, rape is the way of life where he came from and he didn't know better. This despite the 24-year-old rapist had migrated to Norway as a twelve year old.

LOL! We have already been there and done that. I recall a case several years ago, where the magistrate handed down a 'more lenial' sentance to a muslim father who hired a hit-man to kill his daughter... 'because he had to take into account cultural differences'

I think it was in the state of Victoria.

I kid you not!
