Simple answer. No shirts with any slogans or writing on them are appropriate for school.

Religious! My God! Pretty soon people will be thinking that we have Freedom of Religion in this country! What next? Criticizing the government? Baring arms? Those fools and their "rights"!
Schools are teaching ethics these days (don't do drugs, don't smoke, etc). Were you taught ethics or citizenship or anything like that?
In high school? No. Through the Boy Scouts and church? Absolutively.
