We Americans certainly are quick to judge people who have been through things we can't even imagine, aren't we?
Ngo Dinh Diem, first president of the Republic of Viet Nam, who as a Catholic had to deal with attacks from both Communists and Buddhists; August Pinochet, faced with the choice of saving his country from Communist tyranny or letting it go down; Ferdinand Marcos, faced with both Jihad and a foreign-funded Communist insurgency...the list is long and distinguished of men vilified by the sanctimonious and short-sighted who yet left the world a better place.
I don't know if old Slobodan ranks among them, because I don't think we've been allowed enough accurate information to judge. However, I very much doubt that the mooselimbs are the good guys in this episode.

Nazism, Yes we Europeans remember that particular phase of our common past.
Occasionally, its ugly head pops up here and there in modern European Society..
Once had a workmate when I was working with a chainsaw in Sweden some years ago who confessed he was into some nazi business but wished to make seperate ways with these teachings. I speeded up the process and taught him what being a man and self respect is all about.

I think that you are just trying to ease Germany's consicience for their backing all the secessionist groups that created this bloodbath. It's easier to blame the Serbs than it is to look in the mirror, isn't it?
And if you were smart, that mental picture alone should tell you that you have been successfully propagandized into think that "Serbs" or any nationality is "some sub-species of human". Germans used to compare Jews to rats -- physically and spiritually -- made them so much easier for people to kill and cheer others on to kill them.
I am an American, but full-blooded Serb and I'm sorry to disappoint you. I am blond, green-eyed, fine-boned and I used to model when I was young. Mila Jovovich is also another example of what we look like.
But then again, does beauty make on human more fit to live than another? And if we started lining up the ugly in the US for extermination, just which line would you be in?
