Let's see. On one hand, we can choose people who speak English and have been consistently on our side. On the other, we can choose the countries which have traditionally opposed us.

The words "No brainer" spring to mind.

I believe, unfortunately, that were it put to a popular vote in GB that the EU's would win. Of course, I may be wrong.
