"The existing criminal justice system is more than up to the task of prosecuting and bringing to justice those who plan or attempt terrorist acts within the United States"

No it isn't. Do these people have any idea how much it cost just to prosecute Moussaoui? Prosecute the bad actors under military tribunals.

This sad old cow needs to wander off to Miami University to be with her boy toy, Donna Shalala, and leave the rest of us alone.

Oh, yes. Janet Reno of Waco fame has SOOOO much moral authority. /sarcasm

Thanks for the ping, Starwise. Some days I just can't quite believe we won WWII; if these people had been around in the 30's and 40's, we'd all be speaking German.

I see that everyone else has already pointed out the hypocrisy and insanity of taking anything this nazi says seriously, so I don't have to. Not that the majority of people in this country will get it though...

And it will be so much easier now that the Rats own the Congress because "conservatives" had to teach the administration a lesson and vote the most conservative out of Congress.

Yep...I think this is just the first of more to come from the Clintonistas in the years ahead.

Years ago, I read an article in "Readers' Digest" about how Reno and some other ambitious prosecutors climbed to the top of their "profession" on the bones of people who were wrongfully convicted in those ludicrous, far-fetched child sexual molestation cases in Florida and elsewhere. - In more than one community, seems like everyone who lived in the county were child molestors, except the prosecutors, of course, and had dug tunnels beneath a daycare center to use for just that purpose. The Feds dug up the whole yard, but there were no tunnels. - People were wrongfully sent to prison for years based solely upon the social workers' coaching of little kids and the "work" of prosecutors on their way "up" (wherever up is). - Whole families were destroyed through just this tactic.

That's true ... my son was getting afterschool care in the 70's from a nice lady, who was married to a cop, and who later divorced her husband at his urging after he was sentenced. The horror he suffered from the false child molestation charges is detailed in Frontline -- the Grant Snowden case.

He was unfortunately in Dade County, FL at the time Herr Reno was in charge of dispensing justice. What a reprehensible black swamp creature she is. He ended up being cleared, but the years he and his children lost with each other can never be replaced.

Stuff such as this is exactly what the American people voted for on November 7,2006. I hope that they get a belly full of it.

I don't like it myself but the majority said that they do.

These prosecutors and social workers would spend hours wearing the children down and putting words in their mouths, or trying to at any rate; and then they would tell the kids that if they would just tell them what they wanted to hear then they could go home with Mommy & Daddy. Exhausted and brainwashed, the children would do just that, but, of course, the kids ended up in the foster care system where probably in many cases they learned about the real meaning of sexual abuse and didn't see Mommy or Daddy for many years.

When all that fantasy sexual "abuse" was on t.v. ad nauseam years ago and people were being sent to prison to serve long sentences, I said then that I would never, never absolutely never work in a day care or babysitting position, period. - Not that there has never been valid abuse in the world, but those fanatical flights of fancy at work in Ms. Reno's office were so far out that any sane or sensible person would find them preposterous. A lot of the people in these types of hit cases have been freed after serving years in prison; but some are still in jail due to people like Reno not being held accountable for railroading the innocent. Like the Clintons and just about everyone in their administration, Reno built her power on the sand.

Of course these leftist scumbags waited until after Nov. 7 to do this - all through the no-content election campaigns the
Demagogues pretended that they are "tough on terror" but in the 20+ months between national election cycles we always see the true nature of the Demagogues.....

Great. Now all we need is Clinton's idiot surgeon general to appear to lecture us all that the children need to learn to play nicely with themselves.

OTOH, this isn't so bad. Maybe it will remind voters just what a Xlinton administration is really like.

Exactly. And, in general, this idiocy perfectly illustrates the Republicans' contention that the rats want to treat terrorism as a "law and order issue" rather than a war. If the Republicans are smart enough to shout it to the rooftops.
