NEW YORK "The emperor has no clothes," House Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi once famously said about President Bush.
Well, actually he has some fairly decent ones, but it's been Pelosi's clothes _ stylish, well-chosen and nicely cut, of the Armani variety _ that have garnered attention since she became the most powerful woman in American politics earlier this month.

She's got a nice figure and looks better than Hillary in a pant suit--that's the nicest thing I'll say about her.

The task for the media, McBride says, is to do it in proper context, and in a way that doesn't reinforce stereotypes.
Yeah, that's the task of the media alright. To make sure there's no sexism in reporting about the clothes that politicians wear. Forget about covering the biggest story of the millenium --- that .7 billion women are living in abject slavery. What's really important is that the news coverage of what Nancy Pelosi wears is fair and balanced.
Oh yeah. These "feminists" have their priorities straight. Yes indeed. They do indeedy do.

Yeah, too bad she's a nutjob. I love this from the article: "Why do we focus on Pelosi's clothes...?"
We? You mean the Upper West Side? Gawd, NYC is the most provincial town in America.
To: MassRepublicanFlyersFan
Can't stand her or her politics, but she does know how to dress.
To: beaversmom
Well .. I still suspect she disappeard just before the election to have another face job - because the "deer in the headlights" look is gone. And .. I don't recall her having that great a figure before .. so maybe a little boob job was added into the program ..??
I'm just guessing, but I just find it comical that the media is all GA GA over what she's wearing and how she looks.

RECENT plastic surgery!
Can we guess during the just passed election hiatus from congress? That's why she looks like a Chinaman now; her eye work hasn't quite settled in yet.

Liposuction and cosmetic surgery do wonders ... er in need of more work with cosmetic facial surgery and of course a conservative brain ... THEN she'd be worth the attention.

It`s true though....He had his boys bring Paula around and he promptly introduced himself by unzipping his pants, whipping it out, and telling her to "kiss it". That`s what her whole lawsuit was about, the lawsuit that had Bill denying he ever did such a thing but had him agreeing to pay her $800k in damages anyway. Like David Shippers (a democrat) said, "Since when does an innocent man pay $800 thousand dollars?"

She's actually an attractive woman for her age. Everybody can just stop making fun of her plastic surgery, because everybody would also be making fun of her if she had kept the natural wrinkles and sags--a woman can't win!
That said, you don't have to be a genius or have superb taste to run out and buy an Armani suit. This suit, however, fits her horribly. If you have a hundred and sixty million bucks to play around with you can get a suit altered so it actually fits. You can even get one made for you instead of buying something overpriced off the rack like this. A man who wore a suit that fit like this would be a laughingstock.

Clinton piously clucked about the law when he signed it!
It gives the woman the right to ask the "offending" man about the past.
Clinton was poetically snagged in his own web of hypocrisy.
