When Anna Politkovskaya was preparing to fly from Rostov to Ossetia, to cover the Beslan hostage crisis, she was supposedly poisoned with something that was put in her tea.

Supposedly? How did she know that without an analysis. I find it ironic that an American Special Forces officer could get on the scene in Beslan to write a report, while action was still taking place, but a nobody reporter in Russia was poisoned. Furthermore, the FSB certainly did a sloppy job.
