China bought bomber secrets
Washington Times ^ | November 23, 2006 | Bill Gertz

Posted on 11/23/2006 1:31:41 PM PST by SelectiveJNJ

China obtained secret stealth technology used on B-2 bomber engines from a Hawaii-based spy ring in a compromise U.S. officials say will allow Beijing to copy or counter a key weapon in the Pentagon's new strategy against China. Details of the classified defense technology related to the B-2's engine exhaust system and its ability to avoid detection by infrared sensors were sold to Chinese officials by former defense contractor Noshir S. Gowadia, an Indian-born citizen charged with spying in a federal indictment released by prosecutors in Hawaii.

It just never seems to stop, and we don't seem to do anything about it. It's way way beyond sad ...

If we didn't cater to China, we wouldn't be exposed to the extent we are.

When you look at the Cold War and how we strove to protect our nation's secrets and keep spys out, you see how truly outrageous our current policies are.

Hell, we even let them into the White House and other top level agencies during the Clinton fiasco.

No doubt the NY Times and Washington Post are fuming that Gowadia did not offer to sell the information to them first. The info would have made great front page headlines to counter the November sweeps. I hope Mr. Gowadia is fond of a death sentence. Traitorous scum.

If this is true, then Noshir S. Gowadia is a traitor. The way to stop treason is to put traitors to death.

In other words, if Noshir S. Gowadia is not put to death for this crime, then such crimes will continue.

Then again, why not just use stealth technology to deliver a nuke that only kills the people so the Chinese can move on in using the NASCO?

There really should be some sort of sanctions that might make people think twice about this sort of treason... The phrase, borrowed from a howlingly funny radio show/book/TV series says it all... "Death is too good for them!" They should be jailed at hard labor for at least 10 years, AND THEN put to death.

The fact that Pollard and the Walkers are still alive is a really bad thing. It's a shame that one of the decendants of the Rosenbergs is attempting to rewrite history. And I have no doubt that she'll succeed. The MSM and entertainment industry will see to that.

McCarthy was right, but he continues to be used as a whipping boy, and the facts ignored.

Well, foreign born defence contractors should be ipso facto suspect and automatically subjected to in-depth background an loyalty checks. Edward Teller would have passed, and on this Noshir S. Gowadia we could have passed.

Gowadia's indictment again illustrates the pervasive danger posed by China's intelligence collection efforts within the
More info here:

An exerpt:
"U.S. As outlined in Bill Gertz's excellent books Enemies, Betrayal, and The China Threat, as well as Edward Timperlake's Year of the Rat, the PRC government has spared no effort--or expense--to target needed technologies and information. The result has been a steady flow of critical technical data to the PRC, ranging from design information on the W-88 nuclear warhead, to MIRV technology for ICBMs (courtesy of the Loral-Hughes "deal," approved by the Clinton Administration in the mid-1990s), and, based on the Gowadia indictment, data on the B-2 and improved cruise missiles."

Note the name "CLINTON"!!!!! We used to have a president that used that name. His wife wants to be President.

Thanks for your post and link. Very informative. Chinagate should have been fully prosecuted, full agreement. The fact that it was not, paves the way for the scum, gowadia, in getting off. Prayerfully he will not, but unfortunately,
the damage cannot be undone. Just like the Soviet Union copied the B-29 and called it the TU-4 Bull, our guess now is what's going to become of this?

It might be a little easier to understand if he was a foreign national, disregarding that giving him access to the info in that case would have been inexcusable.
