I echo your thoughts on that.
The way the world's going and this country will be heading during the next two years, it's going to take someone who has proven they can step up to the plate and get the job done. Rudy did that on 9/11 and the months following without having to mention what he did when he was in office to get NY back on it's feet from the dungeon they'd got themselves in. He's the only one that's shown he won't buckle under pressure, and all those that keep putting derogatory names on his shoulders as far as I'm concerned can go and get scr***d. To me he's also shown he has a sense of humour.

Well, I'll be damned. He was right. The bad "joke" did not hurt his chances. He's still last.

This "Obamamania" is starting to get on my nerves. The guy has been a Senator for only two years. That is the extent of his experience in any official governmental capacity, yet people are seriously mentioning him and POTUS in the same breath. In 2000, the media was speculating that a two time governor of one of the largest states in the nation did not have enough "gravitas" to be POTUS. What blatant hypocrisy!

If he had led in the poll, it would have "showed how strong of a candidate he'd be".

based on interviews with 1,600 voters - come as Kerry struggles to recover from his botched attempt at humor when he made a reference to soldiers serving in Iraq. Gee... I guess if they say this lie long enough, it may eventually become their truth.
Botched joke indeed. What a load of BS.

I wouldn't say he's finished. If Hillary and the rest of the Rats stumble, he could be the party's aspirant again.

After all the revelations about him made in the "Unfit for
Command" book and the Swifties' TV ads, he had the gall to come out and say "I'm John Kerry and I'm REPORTING FOR
DUTY!" with a military salute at the convention! What a
maroon!
