LOL
But actually if one looks at the last two sentences of Chapter 11 and 13, those are typical Leftist comments (i.e. Not that there's anything wrong with that)
And using force to remake the world to his satisfaction?
= pure statist.
I knew some strange folks in the deserts of So. California, but none as whacked out as him.
Kallispell, Montana is a slice of Americana, which if many American conservatives could afford or tolerate the cold, would be there

Do you remember when Rush Limbaugh did a quiz, he read 2 quotes, one from "Earth in the Balance" and one from the Unabomber manifesto. The Gore Quiz

This guy was absolutely full of hate for many people and very misguided. Excerpt from Kaczynski's journal prepared by FBI as exhibit for Kaczynski's trial
Smaller treads attached to Kaczynski's regular shoes to throw investigators off
Kaczynski's handmade pistol. He planned to use it "... as a homicide weapon."

Are you sure this guy is insane and not just a heartless sob? I remember the computer science professor he maimed with one of his bombs. So heartless and cruel, whatever his reasoning.
How did he (the Unibomber) escape justice?

His brother, who turned him in, negotiated a "Life without the Possibility of Parole" sentence as part of the deal.
I do believe he used part of the $1 million reward to help some of the victims.

I read the whole thing and I think a lot of his observations and suggested causations may be accurate, and they are certainly explained pretty well, but his solution is hopeless. Absent my faith in Jesus Christ I might be driven to agree that similarly insane, desperate solutions are the only options. The statements near the end about leftists are very interesting; made me think of Coulter's "Godless." It's crazy that NorKor now has nukes, and it's Iran rather than Iraq having'em next now.
I agree with dinasour that insanity and brilliance sometimes go hand in hand.

That was a good thing to do. His normal family members, no doubt, suffered greatly from his heinous deeds.
