A great, overdue article about the traitor Trudeau, written by a Democrat writer (go figure!) I knew the author way back when and he was a Card then too, but he does identify the self-styled cartoonist as the leftist idiot he really is.

I write a ceremonial request to our local commie rag once a year complaining that Trudeau is not funny, does not belong on the funnies pages and should be banned to the editorial pages where the same leftwing tripe is published daily. The answer they always give is that he is included because the syndicate that controls all funnies pages demands he remain there. One wonders "who are those guys?" Worse, they removed my favorite Mallard the Duck strip because it was too "conservative." YUK!

If anything, he was too soft on Clinton. Should have brought up the needless war in Bosnia as a counter-exaple to the necessary war in Iraq.

Only two points I have in disagreement with OSC. One - where actually was the humor in the strip? Two - these 'conservative' or 'moderate' Dems just elected to office. I believe the majority of them will be more like James Webb than not. Other than that, a great piece of writing.

I believe they refer to this as "damning with faint praise."
