Elvira Arellano one of the most phenomenal women of the year

27 of November, 2006 Chicago -- "The Latina" magazine emphasizes to Elvira Arellano between the 15 phenomenal women of the 2006, Arellano, considered fugitive to disobey a deportation order, took refuge in a Methodist church of Chicago, denominated sanctuary of immigrants, from the 15 of August, like part of its strategy to obtain immigration reform.

Nevertheless, all do not think equal. Rosanna Pulido director of the Minutemen of Illinois, an organization who opposes undocumented immigrants, says that "the magazine is sending the mistaken message" to its readers. "they are turning a criminal into a hero, a fugitive whom the has broken the law several times to being deported and re-entering illegally. Arellano can be a role model to follow for those who want to break the law."

The magazine published a photo taken by Toribio Barrier, a voluntary fireman who faces the deportation. The photo was taken during the first days in the Methodist refuge, where Arellano appears with an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe of bottom, fact that also has waked up critics between the Methodist church and the catholic. Arellano argues that "this one was the church that opened the doors to me, and my devotion by the virgin has not repressed me, because that is something who I bring in the blood".

Recently Arellano was awarded in absence with the recognition "New America Average Awards 2006", by its "exceptional communication", that was given in Washington D.C. The activist commented that in December also TIME Magazine he will publish an article.

Elvira must not become a precedent for illegal aliens!

Americans have patiently waited for ICE/Homeland security to deport Elvira Arellano, the illegal alien who defied a government order that she turn herself in to the Department of Homeland Security for deportation. Instead, she took sanctuary in Chicago in a West Side church. The 31-year-old woman was arrested in 2002 during an immigration sweep at O'Hare International Airport. Homeland Security officials noted that Arellano had already been deported once, in 1997, and that she had a criminal conviction for Social Security fraud." This conviction makes her ineligible for U. S. citizenship.

Many of the groups supporting Elvira are anarchist or communist groups with an unstated mission of defeating the United States of America. Just what is the aim of a group that calls itself "Center Without Borders?" Why would they be helping a fugitive? Elvira Arellano's protest is really a protest to undermine the sovereignty of the United States of America by abolishing the concept of citizenship, as we know it.

Illegal immigrants have turned around the lives of many Americans, altering our communities for the worse, wasting our tax dollars and transforming our public schools. It is time to clean up this corruption. Sending the fugitive Elvira Arellano back to Mexico is a good place to start.

2) Please ask why hasn't Rev. Coleman of Adalberto United Methodist Church been arrested for aiding and abetting an illegal alien and a fugitive.

U. S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald already knows about these lawbreakers in Chicago. Let's give him another chance to enforce our immigration laws for the good of all Americans.

Here are her court documents. She stole someone elses SS number in order to have access to the secured area of the airport. I guess those OBLers should be glad she was just one of those harding working 'immigrants' doing the jobs we lazy Americans won't, and not a female suicide bomber.
